A week has passed and I have already moved away to another island, infested by dragons of course. The egg haven't hatch yet, so that's that. But the baby dragon that I rescued ,thankfully, lived. And he was quite beautiful to be honest.

"Rai!" I called out and in a flash came out now a little bigger dragon from before.

He have brilliant silver eyes staring back at me, his scales navy blue though when at the right angle and lighting, his scales can turn a light shade from its original colour, he has small horns protruding out his head and his size was almost the size of me.

He sure grows fast.

The still childish dragon let out a somewhat laugh and run around the place on all his fours'; then he sneeze. A loud thunder erupted while a spark of lightning came out from the scale of the said dragon.

"This, this is why you got your name, Rai" I laughed at his antics.

I gave him a gentle stroke which glided down to his chin where I scratch it and rather quickly he was down on the ground;dazed. I let out a giggle.

We were on a mountain and within that mountain is a cave where it served as our temporary home. The island we're in was quite peaceful and majestic. Dragons everywhere living in harmony.

Back at the cave, the egg  was deep inside the cave in a handmade nest that I created myself, well, with a little help from Rai.

Time sure flies by fast.

I shake my head at the thought and try to looked at the present. Thinking too much, I must've caught Rai's attention because he's now just staring at me curiously. His head tilted a bit, his big round silver orbs looking at me with innocent curiosity.

"Cute..." I was the only thing that I can muster to say at the moment.

Snapping out of the trance, I grab a net that I made two days back and put it on Rai's mouth.

"Okay, Rai. Remember what I taught you?" I cooed,"Go and catch us some lunch, sweetie"

Rai may be childish though he was quite a quick learner which made all the things easier with taking care of the egg. Rai nodded in response and waddle to the entrance of the cave which a cliff stands outside, the dragon spread its wings and finally fly out to do his chore.

"Careful out there!" I smiled at the sight, it made me feel content and relief that the baby dragon that I took care of gotten to be so cute.

I made a final giggle and went inside the cave and see the nest that I made with the egg still in it. The nest was quite large for it was for the three of you to sleep in. A malancholy smile came up on my lips as I fix the fur cloak around the egg.

"No need to rush, okay. We're here for you..." I ushered, giving the egg soft strokes.

Not handling it anymore, I couldn't help but carry the egg and snuggle with it whilst humming a tune. Minutes pass and more I felt a little drowzy and unconsciously let darkness take over me.

'A little nap won't hurt nobody right?' I thought as I continue to be engulf by darkness.

Unbeknownst to me, the egg started to wiggle and slowly cracking at my arms.

I'm not sure how but I felt the need to wake up and open my eyes. As my body follows my thought, my eyes started to clear the blurry vision in front of me.

Then there it was, at just the right time for me to open my eyes I saw a small head popping out the onced uncracked egg. My eyes widen but I quickly relax when the thought of might scaring the fellow with that kind of face.

"Hey there little guy..." I smiled softly as I greeted the long awaited family member.

Just like it's mother, they have the purest white feather and fur the entirety of its body. Then, they finally open their eyes and there I was greeted the same golden eyes that was gazed upon me from the beginning of our meeting. And before I could continue any longer, I heard a loud thud inside the cave.

"Huh?" My gaze snap at the source of the sound and there I saw Rai, mouth ajar.

I giggled at the sight when Rai started to bounce around happily until he ended up just at the edge of the nest to looked at the family member. Going back, I was met again with the sharp yet big, round and golden irises in which I can clearly see my own reflection looking back. I stop my breathing and waited for the next action that the new born dragon will do.

And the most unexpected thing happened; the cub nudge it's head on me then finally nuzzling themselve on my cheek. After helping them out of their egg, I checked on its body to which I learned the new born is a boy.

"Hmm, what should I call you..." I hummed as I petted him.

I looked over to Rai for help but my gaze was only greeted by him picking in his nose with his tongue. I know disgusting, but I love this digusting dragon. I looked back at the dragon who was now looking at it's 'older brother'. I watched the scene unfold and to which to my surprise, the little cub walk effortlessly to his brother and looking at him quite curious at what Rai is doing. His strides emanated power and grace to which helped quite big.

I snap my thumb and index finger, a name quickly popped into my head.

"Arzel! That's your name!" I chirped.

As if the air slapped me in the face, Valka and her story of how she took me in entered my mind. The guy who helped me to be alive, that Arzel guy. I am grateful yet also not grateful at the same time to him.

But there's nothing I can do and just let time pass by quick.

"Rai, com'ere" I pat at the area beside me and of course the older dragon obliged.

Rai put his head on my lap while Arzel mimicked the older one. It's so cute, I just can't let myself even squeal. I love both too much in the short span of time that I have met them. I just couldn't stop myself to be so attached by this two.

"I promise I will take care and love you, my little ones..."
