After a long night tinkering with the help of [Y|N], we went back for Toothless and tested out his artificial tail. There were moments, I couldn't help but smile at Toothless even if he gave me and [Y|N] such a hard time at putting his tail on. Days passed on as we continue to test and rework my dragon's tail.

This became our routine. Grab my harness, go straight to the cove -[Y|N] beside me-, put on Toothless the prototype and see what will happen. I find things to adjust and go back to the blacksmith and do it. Fortunately, [Y|N] is always there to regulate me if I'm hydrated and what not.

Hm, [Y|N]...When we first met, both of us were on guard with each other and now look how far we've gone within these couple of days. It's..

"...hm, progress." I unconsciously mumbled.

"What did you say Hiccup?" [Y|N]'s head popped up from the desk where she frequently study to write which is also I use to make blueprints. As of now, she owns that area.

Maybe I was too aloof that I couldn't answer the question.

"Bah! Just finish the tail after five minutes and we'll head out for dinner." [Y|N] -clearly annoyed that I took too long to answer- grumbled and went back to writing Odin knows what.

I guess I better prepare to share my food later at the hall as a peace offering.

"Got it."

A day pass again. Today was just the same old crash landing with Toothless. The reason was the contraption barely works that sent us crashing on a grassy meadow.

"Hiccup! Toothless!" [Y|N] run towards us, worries string into their voice.

"We're okay!" I reassured. "The hook wasn't small enough but I'll change that later."

"Hm, okay!" I could only guess [Y|N] would be smiling as they sit down beside me. "No bruises? No gashes? No fractures? No popping of eyeballs?"

"No!--What kind of questions are those? No popping of eyeballs? Seriously?" I raise my brow a little irked just imagining that scene.

Yuck.

[Y|N] only laughed. "What? I'm just thinking all the possibilities, Hic."

"Well, those possibilities just made me scared. Thank you very much." I sarcastically replied. [Y|N] laughed again.

Toothless draws our attention with his purring? Toothless continue rubbing in the soft grass at our feet, his eyes close as if in a bliss. He rolled around, his tongue hanging out while his tail wagging.

"You seeing this [Y|N]...?" I turn to look back at [Y|N] just to see them rolling in the grass and basically having the same reaction as Toothless.

Huh, that's something you don't see everyday. Cute.

I pick some grass up and off it near to Toothless' nose. Just like I've thought, this is some kind of dragon nip.

I -again- focus back towards [Y|N] who's still giggling and in a bliss. Seriously, so cute.

"[Y|N], I don't want to ruin your..." [Y|N] turned to me, our faces only inches apart. Uh, when did I get this close?

"...fun." I've turn my gaze away from [Y|N] and helped them up. I could feel heat just bursting on my face. "But we have dragon training today..."

As if snapping out of a different world, [Y|N] jumped off the ground and moved away from the patches of grass. They made a sharp turn and move towards back to the cove. "U-uh, yeah. Let's go."
