Everlasting [Hiccup x Reader]

Test Flight

Hiccup stared at the scene in front of him.

"How are you two so close already?!" Hiccup asked, shock nailed to his face.

[Y|N]'s hands were on both side of Toothless' head, petting him like it was normal. The girl could laugh at her friend's priceless face.

The now masked teen continue to pat the purring dragon while also giving the same amount of attention towards Hiccup. "Well, how can you resist this cute little baby? Toothless is adorable!"

"Wow...Just, wow." Hiccup let out an airy chuckled, walking towards his two best friends and sat down with them. "..I can't believe it."

[Y|N] look at Hiccup for awhile when her cheery personality quickly falter. Her hands slowly retracted away from Toothless (to his dismay), a frown on her lips. " O-oh, sorry. Did I took your spotlight? I didn't mean to--"

"-What? No! [Y|N], I'm happy that two of my friends, got along." Hiccup clear up the misunderstanding, nudging softly the shoulder of [Y|N]. "You over think too much, [Y|N]."

"Coming from the guy who doesn't." [Y|N] sarcastically retorted.

" How--when!? I don't remember a time that I over think. If I did, give me proof." Hiccup childishly counters, his shoulders working along with his flailing hands.

"Well, there's this--" A whine from a certain dragon cut off the two's upcoming friendly bicker. Toothless nuzzling in between the two, craving for their attentions.

"Oh, we've almost forgot." Hiccup muttered. He went up from the ground and drag the basket of fish closer to Toothless. "We've brought you breakfast. I hope your hungry."

With that, Hiccup kick the basket over and spilling out fishes out of the material. In glee, the dragon let out a purr and began to ravage the fishes. The pair of teen in sync, subtly shake their heads at the unholy offspring.

"Okay, that's disgusting..." The auburn haired teen commented and carefully get the tail fin that both him and his friend made last night. " Uh, we've got some salmon..."

The male teen continue to mumble all the different kinds of fish all the while his dragon continue to eat it all. Until, Hiccup finally said that shouldn't have really been said.

"....and a whole smoked eel."

And immediately, Toothless let out a roar and his eyes narrowed at the black and yellow eel. Beside the dragon, [Y|N] flinched and slightly leaned her body away from the eel.

"Hic, get that away from us..." [Y|N] speaks out with a small hiss, both for her and Toothless.

Hiccup caught up from the reactions and he quickly pick up the eel. The two facing Hiccup, flinched. Toothless let out an ear bleeding roar, flapping his wings a little.

"Hiccup..." [Y|N] sternly call out towards her friend, standing up by now. "Throw it away. I-I can't stand that...thing."

"No, no, no! It's okay." Hiccup assured, throwing it away from the two.

[Y|N] fell in ease with a sigh. "Thank you..."

Hiccup nodded.

Toothless calms down immediately and continue his meal. [Y|N] ,though, was still irked at the smoked eel. Hiccup can notice it from even afar.

"Yeah, I don't like eel so much either." Hiccup tried to break the tensed air while also going back to his task.

"I don't like it at all. They taste bad and they're scary. I hate their faces....They should burn." [Y|N] (childishly) rants, grimacing at where the eel was thrown away.
