I get off my bed and drag myself to the bathroom, dreading the day ahead of me.

After getting ready for school, I walk downstairs and see my father sitting on the couch, talking to some old man dressed in a suit.

Father: Ah, Changbin. Come here, let me introduce you to one of my close friends, Mr. Lee.

I stand in front of them and bow to Mr. Lee.

Mr. Lee: Oh, he's so respectful. You're lucky to have a son like him.

Father: He's not too special, I find your son much more ready to take on your company.

Mr. Lee: Tha boy is always getting into trouble, I can't trust him with my company.

Father: Really, this generation is so...

They keep talking for a bit, and I just awkwardly walk away, not knowing what else to do.

I grab the sandwich my mum made me and head outside.

I get into the car parked outside and my driver takes me to school.

Driver: Sir, we've arrived.

Changbin: Oh, thank you. Have a nice day.

I get out of the car and immediately, the whispers start.

?: Look at him, getting out of the car like he's all that.

?: I know right, he's so spoiled.

?: I bet his daddy gets him everything he wants.

?: He's probably never worked for anything in his life.

I ignore everything they and say and look around the schoolyard.

I spot my group and head over to them.

Changbin: Hey guys.

I wrap my shoulder around Chan, who happened to be drinking water and just spilled it all over himself.

Chan: What the hell dude?

Jisung: Good one, he deserved that!

Minho: This boy was getting cocky that he passed the history test, and now look at him. Karma's bitch, isn't she?

Chan: Okay damn, you guys are so salty just because you failed the test.

Changbin: Sorry, dude. I really didn't see you there. But I passed too, it wasn't even that hard.

Jisung: Oh my god, that test was harder than Minho's dick, what are you talking about?

Chan: How do you know...?

Jisung: You really want me to tell you?

Chan: No, I'm good.

Chan steps back and we all laugh at the action.

Minho: Ok, we're gonna be late if we don't head to class now.

Chan: Alright, see you guys at lunch.

Minho and Jisung walk to their class, holding hands like the couple they are.

Chan goes out to find his boyfriend, Jeongin, to go to class with him.

And I'm left alone, like the single potato I was destined to be.

I sigh and start walking to my first-period class.

After sitting down at my desk, I take out a Clorox wipe from my bag and clean the pencil marks off the desk.

Not just marks, words.

Words that were directed to insult me, make me mad, even.

But I don't care about them anymore.

It's a routine every day to come in and wipe them off.

Stuff like "Spoiled shit" or "Gay bitch" is the most common.

I don't understand.

Minho, Jisung, Chan, Jeongin, and so many other guys in this school are gay, but why am I the only one getting insulted for it?

It's fucking bullshit if you ask me.
