I slowly stand up, wincing in pain from the whipping.

I take a deep breath and straighten my back to look confident.

Changbin: No.

Mr. Seo: Did you just say no? Do I have to teach you another lesson?

Changbin: I said no! I'm not going to listen to you anymore! I'm an adult now! You can't control me like I'm some kind of pet!

He scoffs and looks at me.

Mr. Seo: Go to your room before you make it worse for yourself, you fucking brat.

I ignore his words and grab Felix by his waist.

Changbin: Let's go Lix, I'm done with this fucker.

Mr. Seo: You! Did you just call me a- what happened to your manners! This is not how I raised you!

Changbin: You say that like you actually put effort into raising me. The only times you ever talked to me were if you needed something from me or when you wanted to beat me up.

Mr. Seo: Changbin, I swear, if you take one step out of this house-

Changbin: Fuck off.

I walk to the door, my arm still around Felix, and go outside.

Everyone follows behind me, and I smirk when I don't hear my dad trying to stop us.

He knows he can't do anything with this many people against him.

To my surprise, there's a car waiting outside.

And in the front seat, my driver.

Driver: Young master, I'm so sorry. You've treated me with nothing but respect and I betrayed you. Please let me drive you to your destination, I want to help you.

I smile and get inside the car.

Changbin: It's okay. I- Yonghee what are you doing here?

Yonghee: Boy, who do you think made this genius plan to help you escape?

Changbin: You did this?

Yonghee: Why do you seem disappointed? If you want I can pick you up and throw you back into your house, that's not a problem.

Changbin: No no, don't do that. Thank you for doing this, I was scared I'd actually have to get engaged to you.
