At the end of Chapter 2:  Sanem laughed and whispered, "You are all I've had on my mind since you dropped me off. I have to whisper so I won't wake up mom and dad. How are we going to do this?" she asked. "I think I might loss my mind." Can laughed. "I hardly think I'm going to let you do that. How would it look to be this much in love with a crazy woman?" Just the sound of his voice heated Sanem's soul. This man had such a pull on her heart, she feared she would lose it for sure. Can listened to her breathe, sure that he could feel her breath through the phone. Yes, this was for sure going to put him through the biggest test of his life. Then Sanem said, "Can, maybe we should hang up now."

The next couple of days had Can delving heavily back into his work at the agency. With the promise of a new client, it was all hands on deck. He insisted that Sanem come to the agency every day for inspiration and to lend her thoughts. She didn't mind at all. It was a way for them to be together and that's all she wanted.

The first day she came into the agency, the reunion with everyone was filled with excitement. CeyCey was more than happy to see her. He had missed his friend and colleague. Deren was more passive about it but she did have a lot of respect for Sanem's talent. The group quickly got back into the swing of things. The potential new client had asked for a meeting to introduce their company's product information to the agency team. A fairly new company, they were looking to expand and wanted a new, fresh look. Something that would set them apart from their competition. They would be introducing a whole new line of mineral-based cosmetics that had piqued the interest of everyone in the industry.

The agency team was preparing for the meeting with the advertising director of the company. It was based in France and a move into the Turkish market was crucial to their expansion plans. Their advertising campaign had to be young and vibrant. Can was sure of his team and ready for the challenge. The two directors of sales and advertising would be making the final decision and choosing the agency that would handle their campaign. Deren had put together information on these two key players. Victor Aubrey was the Director of Sales and Juliette Benoit was the Director of Advertising. Both were young and energetic and motivated to capture the market in Turkey. Deren was very excited about the fact that they had set a large budget for the project.

Sanem had been working hard on her new book. Ahmet had called to outline the new launch date schedule. Her first book was going global and its popularity had skyrocketed. The publishing company had high hopes that the second book would also do well. Ahmet asked if Sanem was ready to take on more publicity, perhaps another book signing, and maybe even a speaking engagement or two. Sanem hesitated to respond because the thought of leaving Can made her feel weak. Ahmet suggested that she think about it for a while. His advice was that they take advantage of the popularity while it was at its peak. That would make it easier when her second book was released.

Being in the public eye had never been a comfortable thing for Sanem. Even with the agency and the success of her first presentation, it was still frightening. But over time, she had learned to handle it. She worked hard at her writing every day. While Can was working on new clients, she wrote about their love. Her little corner of his office had become her sanctuary. Watching him as he worked inspired her and her creative mind flourished. The looks they exchanged throughout the day without saying a word could easily cause a four-alarm fire. By this time, everyone at the agency knew to knock and wait for permission before entering Can's office.

Sanem knew she had to talk to Can about the possibility of leaving for a publicly engagement but she knew what he would say. Their lives had become so enmeshed together and felt so right that she knew he would be against her leaving again so soon. But she did need to think of her career and deal with the kind of engagements that came along with publishing a book. If she did not respond to the offer to do a book signing right now, she knew it would have to be soon. Her fans wanted to meet her, see her face-to-face, feel like they knew her. She loved meeting her fans too. They inspired her to keep going. Maybe after the possible new client for the agency was signed, she and Can could get away together. He could also come on tour with her for support and to help helping her deal with her growing popularity. She always felt more at ease when Can was with her. After the agency meeting with the potential new client was over, she would talk to him about it.

The next two days were busy with preparations for the meeting as the agency team tried to gather all the information they could about the potential client's new product. Can liked knowing all he could about a client before their first encounter. His life was so perfect at the moment that he didn't know how it could be any better. Love and happy was what he was all about but he still wanted to spend more alone time with Sanem away from the office. The stolen glances and hidden touches were just not enough. Maybe after this client meeting, they could get away together. Back to work, or you'll never get this done, he demanded of himself. But the sight of Sanem sitting in her little spot in his office sent such a wave of desire over him that it made him shudder with longing. My god, the woman was magical. She made him think he could do anything.

The day of the meeting had finally arrived. It was exciting for the agency as this company had a very large budget and was willing to spend it. It would push the agency to the top of the advertising world if they could snag this campaign. The conference room was setup with refreshments of tea, coffee, fresh fruit and delicious Turkish desserts. Everyone was prepared with the information needed. As Deren escorted the two directors from the client's company to the meeting room, Can and Sanem came down the hall toward them. Can immediately greeted them and welcomed them to the agency. He had included Sanem in the meeting, against the wishes of Deren of course. But Can paid no attention to her protests that Sanem should not attend. He needed her there to balance him and no doubt, she would have an opinion as well, and Can valued her thoughts.

When Can introduced Sanem to the couple, Juliette Benoit recognized her immediately.

She gushed at actually meeting "the Sanem Aydin". She exclaimed that she was a huge fan which caused quite a stir. She turned to her colleague, Victor Aubrey, and told him that this woman is a famous author whose book was just released in France a few weeks ago and had become an instant bestseller.

Sanem was humble yet pleased that Ms. Benoit even knew who she was. When she requested an autograph and perhaps a picture with the famous author, Sanem agreed which brought a huge eye roll from Deren. After this exchange, they started the meeting.

The agency team was told that the preliminary campaign they submitted had met with strong approval. Their agency would definitely be in the running to win the campaign. All was going well until Victor Aubrey inquired about the nature of the relationship between the agency and Ms. Aydin. Can proudly informed them that Ms. Aydin was his beloved. Before her first book was published, she had also been one of their top copywriters at the agency. She was here now as an advisor and he valued her thoughts.

In turn, Can asked how they had come to learn about the agency. Mr. Aubrey responded that they had come highly recommended to them from a couple of friends. Being curious, Can asked for their names and was told, "They are old friends of mine from way back. Yigit Ersoz and his sister Polen. I have not seen Yigit since college but I ran into Polen a few weeks ago in London. She is the one who recommended your agency and said she had been in a long-term relationship with you. Is this not true?"

Sanem was upset. She looked over at Can and waited for his explanation.
