I'm caught off guard. How does he know my name? Everything around this boy blurs. My knees lock, and I feel as if I am going to fall. I stare at him, unsure if this is real.
I have a feeling I'm making a face because then he says, "You recognize me?!"
I just stood there. I couldn't manage to spit out any words. "Wh-what?" I managed to say. He moves towards me. I step back.
"Don't come any closer." I say, and the boy freezes. My hands are shaking.
"Who are you?" He starts to answer then pauses.
"Thats....thats hard to explain."
A large sound comes from the front door. I turn around. It's Rose. She runs to me with tears running down her face. She stops right in front of me pauses, and then squeezes me until I have to physically push her off.
"Maya I am so sorry, I didn't mean it."
I put my hand on her shoulder, "It's ok, I understand." I turn back to the boy, only to discover that he vanished.
"Come on, let's go to the car, it's just about 12." Rose says.
"Alright."
