I open my eyes to an unfamiliar atmosphere. I'm laying on a rock hard bed, with my pillow supporting my neck while I lay upright. I look out the nearest window to me, it's still pitchblack. I look around my surroundings to come to a conclusion that I'm in a hospital. But it's no ordinary hospital. It looks old, and has rust in every nook and cranny. There's medical equipment all around the room.

Then it hits me, "Ow!" I look at my foot to see that it was elevated with another small pillow. I noticed that Asher must have taken the glass pieces out since I couldn't see them in my foot.

Asher probably heard my whimper and came running into the room. "Where am I?" I questioned. He walked up to the hospital bed, and knelt down so he could look at me in the eyes.

"I figured since you couldn't go home, and you needed medical attention without us getting caught, I would take you to an abandoned hospital next to the beach. Don't worry no one knows about this place."

"Oh ok".

This bed was so uncomfortable that I had to stand up. As I tried to pain shot through my left leg. I exhaled deeply in pain. "Here let me help," Asher said while lifting me up and placing me on a chair next to the bed. I went into the other room to get some things for your foot shortly before you woke up," he says.

I see him scoop up some things from the other side of the room. He starts placing peroxide, bandages, antibacterial , cotton balls, and adhesive tape on a table next to the chair. He kneels in front of me again. "Can I?" I place my foot on his knee while he starts uncapping the tube of peroxide and wetting cotton balls.

"How does that feel?"

"It doesn't hurt that badly," I say, which is a lie.

Asher places a coat of antibacterial cream and starts wrapping it up with the gauze and adhesive tape. "There that should be good," Asher mumbles. He stands up while trying to help me get up at the same time.

"Thank you."

I can feel his hand holding tightly around my waist making sure I won't fall. By now we are so close that I feel his warm breath against my face. We are just standing there looking into eachothers eyes. Even in the darkness of night I can still see those blue green eyes smiling at me.

"I have to show you something," he says, unfreezing time. He lifts me up, and we head out of the room, and up the stairs, one by one.
