PoV: Shadow

“Fucking good for nothing Chaos Emerald.” I grumbled as I looked around the place me and Sonic crashed yesterday. It was nowhere in sight.

“Fucking dimension.”

“Damn you Sonic, you fuck.”

Every single thing was pissing me off. I hated everything about this situation; Sonic, the Emerald, this dimension. Everything, just everything. 

As I kept cussing without anyone to hear it, I kicked a stone that was near my foot. It hit a tree and got sent back to hit me right in the face.

“Fucking stone!” I rubbed my head and was about to kick the stone away again when I noticed it was glowing. I picked it up to examine it. It was a piece of the Chaos Emerald. I had just carelessly kicked the very thing I was looking for. "Damn it all! It’s also fucking broken!”
  
  
PoV: Shads

"Damn it all! It's also fucking broken!"

  I heard a familiar, yet expected voice coming from the woods.

"That doesn't sound all too promising," I ran to the spot the yelling was coming from. I found Chibi throwing a hissy fit.

"Where is Sonic?! I’m beating him up! I’m ending him!” Chibi snapped.

"Hey," I walked up to him and touched his shoulder. Maybe not the best thing to do since he elbowed me in the stomach, "...motherfucker… that hurt…"

“Your fault for creeping up on me.” Chibi snarled.

"Why the fuck are you even yelling in the forest?" I stood up and dusted myself off.

“None of your business.” Chibi replied, he was pissed and the glow coming from his hand gave me a hint as to why.

"What is that?" I grabbed his wrist.

"Don’t fucking touch me!” Chibi pulled away, but I refused to let go.

"Behave yourself before I tell your Sonic you want a hug," I pried his hand open and pulled a stone from his palm, "You shattered the emerald? Dumbass."

“Me? Me?! It’s all Faker’s fault!” Chibi was extremely angered. “If something goes wrong it's always because of him.”

"You both were fighting over the emerald right?"

"No.”

"You're a terrible liar," I put the piece away for now, "Either way you're both responsible."

“Give me back that piece!" He held his hand open.

"You'll get it back when you can behave yourself," I put my hand on his head, "And stop acting like a toddler."

"Do you have a death wish?”

"Tails," I turned on my communicator, "I have Chibi. Stop the search."

"Hey!"

"Chaos control," I brought him back to Tails' workshop with me.

"Chibi!" Blue smiled at us.

“Don’t fucking call me that!”

"Don't mind him, he's just fussy since the two of them managed to shatter the emerald," I held up the piece.

"Shut up! I wasn’t the one who broke the damn thing!" Chibi snapped.

“At least you got a piece of it.” Sonic said. “That’s something.”
