PoV: Shadow 

Now that I was finally away from Sonic, I felt at ease. Being with this joyful version of myself was unbearable but being around Sonic was the worst.

Though something was off. When we got inside, it was as if I could still smell Sonic. This was great, just great. It seems like wherever I went, he was there.

"You can order food if you want. There's coffee beans in the freezer, jelly in the fridge, just tell me if you order food so I can pay for it," Shads said as he dropped his keys on the counter.

“I don’t need anything.” I huffed and went to sit on the couch with my arms crossed.

"Just letting you know your options. You can read any book you want. I have movies too. Just- I'll take these with me," Shads pulled a few DVDs from the shelf. They each had dates written on them, "There, you have free rain over the movies. Knock before coming into my room," Shads took the dials upstairs with him.

 “I’m fine. I don’t need anything.” I growled. 

Can’t this guy leave me alone?!

“Bleh! It reeks of Sonic here.”

"He's over here all the time. You'll get used to it," Shads called from upstairs.

“I don’t think I ever will.” I said and rolled my eyes. “Nor do I want to.”

  There was a half used candle on the table in front of me.

“Don’t tell me this guy is into candles.” I sighed. “I can’t stand the smell of those things.”

  I heard a door close and it was complete silence. Finally some rest and quietness. 

I lay down to let my leg rest. I will get my payback on Sonic for making me limp. But then again, I already made him pay.

I hate to admit it but Sonic was right. We couldn’t keep on fighting. We wouldn’t get home if we did. Still, that doesn’t mean I’m cooperating. If he is irritating me, he will get what he deserves.

And what is up with this Shadow? He carried him and took care of him without.. being grumpy.
   
   
PoV: Blue

  What the hell happened?!

  The forest outside my window was burned!? How out of control did they get-

"He put me to sleep! Damn it Shadow! I'm not letting you get anything tonight!" Sonic's injuries were bad enough, but knowing they nearly set the entire forest on fire while I was taking a nap irritated me.

"The orchid!" I ran out to check, none of the fruit trees had been burned, "Thank chaos," I picked a few of the apples and brought them inside with me, "It took me forever to grow these."

  I walked into the guest room and placed a clean apple down on the nightstand besides Sonic. I checked his temperature and the time. I needed to wake him and give him another pain killer. I ran to the kitchen, grabbed a glass of water and the meds.

"Sonic, I need you to wake up for a few seconds," I nudged him.

Sonic grumbled something that wasn’t audible but I guessed it meant no.

"Just for a second," I leaned him against me so he was sitting up, "Come on."

“My head hurts...” Sonic winced. “I don’t want to be awake.” 

"This will help with the pain. Then you can go back to sleep," I handed him the pill and he stuck it in his mouth. He took the water and drank it. He immediately laid back down after, "I'll give you another one in a few hours. Sleep tight."

  I left him to sleep and cleaned up before heading to the bath. My nap lasted longer than I wanted so I wasn't tired enough to sleep.

"When the hell is he gonna get here," I threw my sweater into the hamper and turned on the shower.

"When is who going to get here?" My Shadow was right behind me.

"You caught me~" I hid behind the door.

"Do you have some free time?" He came into the bathroom with me and locked the door.

"I think I'm free for about six hours," I set an alarm to give Sonic his next dose.

"Then let's get the shower running."

"This is new," I followed him, "Saw a video you like or something?"

"No, just an idea. Now come here."

"Coming~♡"
