Dont Forget Me- Cody Simpson

I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt. It's a typical thing that happens when I hang out with my best friends. Alli, Cody, Josh, Jake, Ruby and Sophie. They know how to make me smile. Cody and Alli are visiting the Gold Coast for a week. I missed them more than the world!

Things are still the same, our relationships only grow closer when they leave. I love them. They were my first friends I had when I moved to the Gold Coast. We are like brother and sisters. Our little group of friends are inseparable. Even though Cody and Alli don't spend much time here in Australia, we like to go over to America and visit. They can only visit once or twice a year so we might as well bring Australia to them every once and a while.

"The water is too cold guys! I don't want to go in!!" Alli said with her feet in the ocean. It was night time. We were all hanging out.

"You have to come in! You have no choice!" Josh said running out of the ocean towards Alli.

"Josh, don't you dare touch me! I swear to god if you do, you're dead!"

"Looks like I'm dead" Josh said throwing Alli over his shoulder. He laughed as she screamed, kicking her legs and punching his back. We all laughed along with Josh. Alli shot us the death glare and we tried our best to hold in the loud laughters.

"Guys it is actually pretty cold in here. I'm with Alli, I don't really want to go in" I said, the ocean at my knee height.

"Thank you! Now put me down josh" Alli said happy that I agreed with her.

"If you say so" Josh said as he dropped her into the water. She screamed.

"That is it! Come here!!" Josh started swimming away from Alli, Alli chased him. We all smiled. It's so obvious they like each other. All they do is tease each other.

Cody walked up behind me and hugged me around the waist. "Sup Simpson?" I said.

"I'm just thinking." He said smiling. He leaned his chin on my shoulder.

"Thinking about?" I calmly said while putting my hands on top of his which were wrapped around my waist.

"Just thinking about how lucky I am. You know? I have the best people in my life, with the best home and the best fans. What would I do without you Autumn?"

"You tell me." I said smirking. I looked at Cody and he spun me around so I faced him.

"Okay I will. If I didn't have you, I wouldn't be living my dream right now, I wouldn't be as happy as I am now, I'd be singing in my bedroom wishing, not living. I'd be lonely and I wouldn't have a best friend that I love so much." He smiled, I blushed and looked down at my feet. He lifted my chin so our eyes would meet.

"You're the best Cody. I love you"

"I love you too Autumn"

I kissed his cheek softly. No we aren't dating, we just love each other. He's my best friend. Our relationship is just like this. I love it. He's amazing. I never said I didn't like him, of coarse I like him a bit, but it's normal. It's not strong feelings, just ones that make me care for him, a lot.

He pulled me into a warm hug. "So you think the waters a little too cold huh?" He whispered down into my ear.

"Don't you even think about it..." The next thing I knew, he swung me over his shoulder and began running deeper into the ocean. I screamed and tried to squirm out of his grip. Once we were deep, he threw me off his shoulder. I grabbed his head and yelled "you're coming down with me princess" he shrieked and I laughed.

We were under water and he started swimming towards me, I tried to swim away, but he was too fast. He grabbed me and started to tickle me. I punched him and smiled towards his direction. He grabbed me and swam up the surface.

"That hurt" Cody said in a baby voice. I stuck my tongue out at him and swam to shore and sat on a towel with everyone else. Cody sat next to me. I was tired so I leaned my head on Cody's shoulder. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I smiled as I shut my eyes. Still aware of my surroundings just relaxing.

"Is she asleep?" I heard Alli say.

"I think so" Cody said snuggling closer to me.

"Okay, so what's going on between you two??" Alli blurted. I heard everyone else agree with her question like they've been wondering the same thing.

"Nothing. We are friends. I've gone over this so many times." Cody spoke.

"You like her don't you?" Jake said softly.

"Uhh well I don't not like her" Cody said quietly.

"Mhmm sure." I heard Sophie say.

"Just give it up Cody we know you like her" Ruby said.

"Well of coarse I do, but at the time I just want to be her best friend. Ruining our relationship is not something I plan on doing" Cody told them.

"I think you guys would be a cute couple" Josh told Cody. Cody sighed loudly.

I guess I fell asleep after that because I woke up in Alli's bed. She was sleeping soundly next to me. I laid back down on my pillow and smiled. I'm so happy that Cody likes me too. Obviously I don't want to date him, but it's a good feeling to know he likes me too.

I got dressed in some leggings, an oversized sweater that looked just huge on my thin short body, put on eyeliner and mascara around my chocolate brown eyes and threw my dark brown hair into a messy bun.

I ran downstairs and saw everyone but Cody and Alli up. They sleep in a lot.

"Look who decided to wake up" Sophie said as she ran up to me and embraced me with a big hug. She let go and right away I felt strong arms around my waist. I smiled knowing it was Cody. I tilted my head up, he looked down at my face and smiled. He kissed me on the forehead and let go of me going for food right away.

"Hey mates, you want to come to my Christmas party tonight at my house?" Josh said.

"Yeah" we all responded "I'll tell Alli about it later" I said.
