Chapter 2

**"Hey mates, you want to come to my Christmas party tonight at my house?" Josh said.

"Yeah" we all responded "I'll tell Alli about it later" I said. **

I ran upstairs only to see Alli awake playing on her phone. I jumped into the bed and sat there staring at her give her a weird smile. "What the hell?" Alli said when she realized the look I was giving her.

"Want to go to Josh's party tonight?" I asked

"Well yeah!!" She yelled. "What are we going to wear?"

I smiled and looked at her. I know she was thinking the same thing "shopping!!!" We both yelled.

"We get it shopping is cool now shut up" we heard Cody yell from downstairs. Alli and I giggled.

We were walking around the mall looking into some stores. Nothing caught our attention until I found the best outfit! There was a black skirt that had a big bow in the back, I found a white half top that was a sweet heart neckline, but had sheer sleeves, I found cute black lace up heels. I love the outfit!

Alli found a dress that was flowy. It sat right above her knees and was black. It was a shorter sleeve and had a gold belt with a bow in the front corner. The back was beautiful. It was drappy. I loved her dress! She wore gold heels that match the belt.

We got a ride to Alli's house and we started to do our hair and makeup. Alli loosely curled her hair and straightened mine. We put on our dresses as we heard everyone yell from downstairs "hurry up guys we are going to be late. Wait do we want to be late? You know fashionably late?" Alli and I giggled. Alli was ready.

"I'll meet you down there girl?" She said.

"Yeah I'll meet you down there" I answered. I put on some earrings and laced up my shoes. I started walking downstairs. I was a bit confident tonight. Normally I don't feel pretty, but tonight, I felt beautiful. I'm more of the tomboy type, I don't put in that much effort into my looks, but when I do I feel pretty. I really do.

I slowly walked down the stairs making sure I won't fall down a step or trip. Everyone was talking and laughing, but when I looked up I saw Cody in black jeans, a white v neck and a black leather jacket. He was staring at me. I smiled at him as he slowly began to make his way towards me.

"Wow, Autumn.. You look... Beautiful. I mean not like you never do, but you're just.. I..."

I giggled under my breath as he nervously laughed and rubbed the back if his neck. "Thanks Cody" I smiled at him "you look great tonight too" he blushed and grabbed my hand leading me out of his house.

I felt someone whisper into my ear "you two are adorable" I looked over and saw Ruby smiling. I smiled back and then looked down at my feet and blushed.

We got at the party and there were so many people there! I got a bit scared. As I took a step into the house I held Cody's hand really tight. I think he could tell I was a bit scared of the people by the look he gave me as he pulled me closer. We found Josh talking to a bunch of girls. I could tell in Alli's eyes that she was jealous.

"Hey guys! You made it! Woh.., Alli... You uhh... Look... Umm wow... You look gorgeous" he stared at her in awe.

Alli's angry eyes turned soft as she blushed and smiled. "Thanks Josh, you look not too bad yourself" he smiled. We left them alone and before I knew it Ruby, Sophie and Jake had gone and partied with other people.
