Chapter 16

**"I just love you so much." He smiled and I smiled back. He pecked my lips grabbing his shirt putting it back on and grabbing my sundress handing it to me. We walked back to his house and we snuggled in bed letting our bodies rest. A perfect ending to a perfect evening. <3**

I woke up the next morning, my head on Cody's chest, I slowly lifted it up off him and sat up in the bed. I looked down at him still sleeping, I smiled and got out of bed. I walked down stairs, Alli, Tom, brad and Angie were all on the couch watching cartoons. "Look who decided to wake up!" Alli said giggling. She stood up and hugged me.

"So how was last night?" Alli whispered really quietly in my ear. She winked at me. I blushed.

"It was really great" I whispered back to her.

"Come with me!" She said pulling me to her room.

"Good morning Brad, Angie and Tom!!" I yelled as I was being pulled by Alli.

"Good morning lovely!" I heard Angie yell back. Alli dragged me into her room and pushed me onto her bed. She sat down cross legged on her bed.

"What happened??" She asked with a smile pasted on her face.

I giggled a bit, "well we were about to kiss then Chase was like spying on us.. So then he left and we made out a bit. Nothing really new." I said

"Wait Chase was there? You guys didn't have sex did you?..." She said with a disgusted face

"Yeah Chase was there... He said he forgot his sunglasses or whatever. And no we did NOT have sex" we both laughed.

"That's weird, I guess we will have to ask Chase about that." Alli said still smiling

"I guess so." I said smiling back at Alli. The door opened and there stood Cody, shirtless, bed head, and eyes squinting from the light in the house. "Good morning love" I said

"Good morning babe" he answered with his cute tired voice. I stood up and have him a hug. He kissed me on the top of the head. "What are we doing today?"

"Boating?" Alli asked. We all smiled and nodded our heads.

"Cody stop it! I'm trying to tan!" I said laying on my stomach on the deck of the boat.

"What if I don't want to stop?" Cody said tickling me again.

"Then no kisses for you" I said sticking my tongue out at him.

"That's a little harsh don't you think?" Cody said sitting on top of me one leg on either side of me, massaging my back

"Cody get off!!" I said laughing.

"Don't want to" he said smirking.

"ALLI!!! HELP ME!!" I said as Cody began tickling me again.

"Will you guys stop flirting?" Josh said

"It makes some people uncomfortable" Alli joked she winked at us.

"Soooppphhhiiieee!! Help me! Cody won't get off me." I said whining.

"Oh princess" Sophie said. Everyone laughed.

"You guys are horrible friends!" I said. Everyone laughed except Chase. He was quietly sitting down in the boat. "Chase you want to get Cody off me?" I said sweetly.

"Nah it's fine" he said quietly.

"Babe get off me!!" I pouted.

"I like sitting like this though!" Cody said smirking at me.

"Fine then no kisses for you" I said smiling.

"You can't last a day without kissing these lips."

"Maybe I could if I had other lips to kiss" I said threatening him.

"Oooooooo" everyone said. I laughed.

"Come on baby!" He whined

"No you're ruining my tan." I said

"I've got your back girl" I heard Alli say before she pushed Cody out of the boat which was not moving. We all bursts in laughter. I even saw Chase laugh a bit.

"ALLI! YOU LITTLE SHIT!" Cody yelled from the water. I was laughing so hard my stomach ached and I couldn't breath. "You think this is so funny?" Cody said getting out of the water.

"Uh oh" I said trying to run away from Cody.

"Uh oh is right, you better run Autumn" he said grabbing my waist.

"Cody, baby, please no!" I said as he held me over the water.

"Why? Will it ruin your tan?" He mocked me.

"Well that and I'll give you kisses if you don't throw me in." I said trying the bribe him.

"Hmmm nah I'm good" he said before dropping me in the water. I screamed. I treaded the water, trying to stay on the surface.

"You're the worst" I said to Cody.

"No I'm not! You love me!" He said laughing.

"You wish" I said getting out of the water. I walked up to Cody, our body's touching, his head looking down at me and my head looking up at him. He grabbed my waist and leaned his forehead down on mine.

"You can't stay mad at me" Cody whispered.

"You're right I can't" he started to lean in. I put my hands on his abs and pushed him into the water. Everyone started laughing. Jake gave me a fist bump. I ran to the other side of the boat. Little did I know Cody swam to that side, grabbed my hand and dragged me into the water too. Everyone laughed harder. Cody held my waist in the water. I wrapped my legs around his torso and my arms around his neck making him carry both of our weight in the water.

"You're the worst" I whispered.

"I try" he whispered back. We both smiled. He leaned in for a kiss but I stopped his lips with my hand.

"No kisses" I winked at him.

"Please?" He asked removing my hand from his mouth.

"Nope" I said swimming away from him. I climbed into the boat and sat in one of the seats next to Chase. I saw Cody come into the boat and pick me up. He sat in my seat and put me on his lap. Cody started kissing the back of my neck. "Stop babe!" I said turning around smiling.

"Why? You won't even kiss me!" He whined

"I warned you" I said joking with him.

"Well until you kiss me, I'll kiss you" he said cupping my face trying to kiss me, but I turned back around facing forward. Cody played with my hair and kissed my neck, shoulders and back

"I hate you" I said sarcastically.

"I know you don't" he said holding my waist.

We were all having a good time joking around, Cody started kissing me again. We flirted as always until Chase just blew up with anger. "Will you guys just stop! Are you trying to rub her in my face Cody? Because you know I can't have her? I thought you guys had enough fun last night. I saw it all! My heart physically aches when I see you two like this! Stop it. Okay? Stop flirting! Stop kissing! Stop just stop it! You guys are horrible! You're doing this on purpose! I know it! No couple does this stuff in front of all their friends!" He yelled at us. All of us with surprised faces on. The part that stuck out the most to me was the fact he saw us make out last night... I thought he left. Cody gently pushed me off his lap.

"Look I'm sorry mate. I didn't know we were flirting that much. I'm not trying to rub her in your face and I didn't know you like her this much still. To be honest we are always like this and I'm sorry. I just won't touch her until you leave" he said with sadness in his voice. Chase just looked down at his hands

"I'm sorry too chase, but the fact that you watched us last night of the beach... That was your choice to watch, it's embarrassing for me and Cody. It's disrespectful. I'm sorry that I don't love you anymore. I'm sorry I moved on, but I thought we agreed on friends?" I said. Chase wouldn't even make eye contact with me.

"And chase they aren't forcibly trying to flirt. They've actually always been like this. Even when they were just friends. It's their relationship. Don't take it personally. I guess we are all kind of use to it so we don't notice it as much." Alli said said to him.

"I'm sorry for freaking out at you guys. I'm sorry I watched you guys last night... I can't seem to get over you Autumn. I swear you're perfect, it's impossible to get over you, and I am just so jealous of Cody. I wish I could've been a great boyfriend like him to you. I just think I'm still in love with you" he said still looking down. I swear I saw tear fall from his eye. I didn't know I meant this much to him. I slowly walked up to him. I put my hand on his back and bent down to my knees.

"Hey Chase, I want to talk to you later today. Okay?" He looked at me in the eyes. His were red and his hands were wet from tears. He nodded his head. We all sat down talking except Cody sat on the dock of the boat, dipping his feat in the water, a pad of paper and a pen. I knew he was writing a new song. I looked at Chase who was talking with everyone. I walked up to Cody and sat next to him. "What's going on Simpson?" I said leaning my head on his shoulder. He looked at me and smiled.

"I'm just writing a new song." He said

"What's it called?" I said only looking in his eyes.

"It's called paradise" he said looking in my eyes too.

"Sounds nice" I said smiling. He leaned down to my face and pressed his lips on mine. It gave me shivers through my spine.

"I want to hang out with you again tonight" he said winking.

"No baby." I said "I have to talk to Chase tonight"

He frowned "after that?" He asked.

"No" I smiled.

"Fine. Make sure the guy doesn't take you back okay?" Cody said worried.

"Cody he won't take me back."

"But what if he does? I mean you deserve better than a guy like me, and maybe if you talk to him you'll realize how much you love him again."

"Don't think like that okay? I love you and you only" I said kissing the tip of his nose.

"You guys want to head back now?" Alli asked. We all nodded heads. Cody drove the boat to a dock and tied it. We all jumped out. I grabbed Chases hand and said bye to everyone. We sat in the sand.

"Okay so umm I just wanted to talk to you. You know about what we use to have and how I can't do it anymore. " I started off. "Chase I'll admit, I really liked you, maybe almost loved you, you never got to know Cody, in fact I never told you I knew Cody. I'll be honest I have always liked him for the things he did for me especially when my brother passed away. My group of friends were the only ones there for me and I love them all for that. I'm sorry I don't like you any more, but you're an amazing guy and you deserve an amazing girl. I just don't think we were meant for each other you know?"

"Yeah I get it, but I just can't seem to get you of my mind. I still love you and I only want you. I want to be Cody. I want to be yours. I miss your lips on mine, I miss the way our hands fit perfectly together, the way your body snuggled against mine. I miss it all. I wish I never moved because maybe then we would still be together." He let out a huge sigh. "I love you Autumn" he said quietly. My heart twisted and turned. It ached. I moved closer to him and held his hand.

"You will always be my first love. And ill never forget the things you did for me" I said trying to comfort him.

"But why can't you be mine?" He said. I didn't answer I just sat there looking into his eyes. I gave him a hug from the side. He pulled me close. Next thing I knew I was on his lap leaning into a kiss. What was I doing? I have cody! I don't like Chase! I closed my eyes and then soft lips were on mine, our lips moved perfectly in sync. I was use to these lips. I missed them... I felt his tongue slither into my mouth. He laid me down and got on top of me. I knew this wasn't right. I'm a bad person. I have a faithful boyfriend at home and here I am making out with my ex. I couldn't pull away though. I don't know why. I prayed Cody wouldn't find us. Then chase wrapped my legs around him as he began walking to his hotel room across the beach. When we got there he laid me down on the bed and took off his shirt. What was going on? I'm cheating on Cody! Our kiss began to get more rough, more hot and more... amazing? Everything we did felt natural. Chase took off my sundress. Now I was in my bikini. He slipped his hands in my bikini top. I didn't stop him... Until he stared kissing down my neck and sucking on my sweet spot. I felt tears forming in my eyes. I pushed Chase off me, gabbed my dress put it on and ran out of the room.

"Wait! Autumn! I'm sorry!" He yelled. Tears were pouring out of my eyes. He stopped me. "I'm sorry" he said.

"We can't see each other anymore" I told him.

"But I love you" he said sadly. I shook my head.

"I'm sorry" I said running across the beach to Cody's house. I felt as though I couldn't breath. Cody found me leaning against the front door crying and trying to catch my breath. Every breath painful. Harsh and sharp.

"What happened baby?" Cody asked hugging me. I pushed him away from my body

"I'm so sorry!!" I said running upstairs. Alli ran out of her room.

"What's going on?" She asked

"I don't know! She won't tell me!" Cody said scared. I sat in the bathroom with the door locked. I sat on the ground and started crying harder. I'm a horrible person. I just cheated on my love. I hate myself. "Open up please Autumn" Cody said from the other side of the door. How was I going to tell him? I can't just keep it to myself! I'd feel guilty and miserable, but I can't tell him because then he'll break up with me and hate me! "Please baby!" I heard someone picking the lock. Then the door opened.

This is a nightmare...
