Chapter 8

**"I want you to follow your heart no matter what life brings you, who life brings you and what your future holds please follow your heart. I know it sounds cheesy, but just do it.... And never forget me. Even if we never see each other ever again. Never forget. Even the little things..." I said. We let go. And I started to walk out of the front door.

"I promise" I heard Cody whisper to himself....**

I started walking home, crying, sadness covered my face. I got a text from Alli

From, Alli Simpson<3(11:48am): hey, where are you???

I let out a big sigh.

To, Alli Simpson<3(11:49am): meet me at my house, it's a long story :/

I walked up to my front door and opened it. "Mom! I'm home!!" I yelled running up to my room throwing myself onto my bed. I started to cry, I missed Cody already. I hate Hailee! So much... I love Cody... He's my best friend. He always will be....

I heard my mom yell to me "Autumn sweetie, Alli is over!" I ran downstairs saw Alli grabbed her wrist and dragged her to my room. I sat down on my bed, placed my face into my hands and started to cry. I felt Alli sit down next to me putting a hand on my back.

"Autumn?" I heard her gently say as she grabbed my hands and removed them from my face. I looked at her. Her face filled with worry. "What happened? Did you and Cody get into a fight?" I shook my head. I could feel more tears coming as I cried silently with my head down, my elbows resting on my legs and my hands supporting my head. "Autumn? Please tell me what happened..." Alli said with her sad filled voice. I looked at her, my eyes red, my cheeks wet with tears and my lips shaped into a frown.

"Hailee..." Was the only word I managed to say before breaking down again.

"What did she do?" Alli said with anger in her voice.

"She made him choose.." I said whimpering, taking deep, harsh breaths from crying so hard.

"Made him chose what?" She said I could see fear pasted across Alli's face.

"Me or her." I said breaking down, bringing my feet onto my bed and my knees to my chest. I placed my head into my knees. I felt like I couldn't breath. I was so sad.

"No.... and he chose..." She said quietly.

"Mhm" I said.

"Oh my god... Autumn..."

I cut her off. "It's fine! He loves her and he's happy with her, I should be happy too." I said putting on a fake, small smile.

"No. This isn't right" she said grabbing my hand yelling to my mom "mrs. Rayn, Autumn and I are going out for a bit." She dragged me through the streets, the fields and the allies until we made it to her house. She ran in. "Cody get down here now!" She yelled. I've never seen her so angry.

"What?" He said, Hailee holding his hand as he walked down stairs. He took one look at me, I was a mess. The second he saw us two together he knew what she was going to say to him. "Oh... Umm..." Was all he said as he started to slowly walk back upstairs.

"No! Cody get down here seriously." Alli demanded. He slowly walked down the stairs. Running his fingers through his hair and holding Hailee's hand tightly. " what were you thinking, Cody? Autumn is your best friend."

"I... I'm so sorry. I truly am. I don't want to chose.." He said, his head looking down at his feet.

"And Hailee why the hell would you make Cody chose?" She blurted.

"Because I hate Autumn" she said nastily glaring at me.

"I don't care. Do not ever make him chose again! Autumn is his best friend, that will never change! And if it does change I don't want you to be the reason you got it bitch?" Alli said. I covered my mouth with my hand.

"Excuse me" Hailee said letting go of Cody's hand and slowly walked over to Alli. Glaring.

"Alli! Never say that again to her!" Cody yelled grabbing Hailee's arm.

"We need to sort out some things! Number one, Hailee, I am not choosing. I going to be friends with Autumn and date you. Number two, you two girls need to stop being rude to Hailee." Hailee stuck her tongue out at us. "And Hailee you can't be rude to them either. Number three, no swearing at each other. Number four, Hailee, let me have what ever kind of relationship I want with Autumn. We won't date I promise. And lastly, no fighting. Got it?" He said looking at all of us. Serious stares.

"I'm cool with those rules." I said. Wiping away some left over tears on my face.

"Me too" Alli said.

"Fine" Hailee said angrily.

"Good" Cody said with a smile on his face. He walked up to me and hugged me tight and kissed the top on my head. "I'm sorry Autumn" Cody whispered. I heard Hailee let out a huge sigh. I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"It's okay Cody. I love you" I said softly.

"I love you too beautiful" Cody said

"Excuse me?" Hailee said pushing Cody out of my grip.

"Hey the rules!" Alli said with a smile on her face.

"Ugh!" Hailee groaned stomping up the stairs. Cody followed her.

"Thank you Alli" I said turning to her. I give her a hug and kissed her in the cheek. "Thanks to you Hailee can't be rude to us anymore." She let out a small giggle

"No problem Autumn" she hugged me tighter. "A couple more days until New Years! Too bad we couldn't stay for Christmas this year... but we will have to throw a huge party for 2013! Lets start planning!" I smiled

"Yes. We will throw the best party ever!"

A/N go Alli!!! Cody and Autumn can be friends again! What will the New Years party be like? Who's going to be their New Years kiss??? I've got the best idea for this party! You won't want to miss the next chapter!
