Dont Forget Me- Cody Simpson

Chapter 3

**"I love you Cody... So much" I hugged him and fell asleep in the position waking up in it too. **

I smiled slowly letting go of Cody's grip, but then I felt his hand on my waist pulling me closer. I pushed on his chest to move away, he kept on pulling me closer pretending he was still sleeping, until he broke into laughter and opened his eyes. I giggled and hugged him one last time. He pecked me on the nose and smiled. He let go of me but held one of my hands with the other one my face so it faced his. He sat up with me and gave me a small smile.

"How are you today Autumn?" He quietly said.

"I'm fine I guess. A little sad still, but you really know how to make me happy." I smiled and he smiled back pulling me on his lap.

He hugged me so tight as he whispered through my hair "I'd make you happy any day. You deserve everything good" I cracked a smile and let go of his grip still smiling. Until someone busted into the door.

"Cody have you seen Autumn?? She wasn't there when I.... Oh I see. Never mind. I'll leave you two alone." She winked.

"No come in!" I yelled as I got off of Cody's lap. She sat on the corner of his bed. And just looked at the two of us.

"Why did you sleep in here?..." She slowly asked me making eye contact.

"I was sad and Cody brought me to his room and we fell asleep" I said innocently. She smiled.

"You could've woke me up. You know I'm here for you" she hugged me.

"I know.. Cody kind of came to me" I said looking down at my hands. Alli giggled.

"I see how it is. Get dressed. It's our last full day here and we are going surfing." She said happily.

I was running into the water with Cody and my surf board. I miss surfing with Cody. It's so much fun! We were waiting for the right wave when Cody smiled and spoke "I found the best wave, get ready" I smiled and got ready. The wave came and we stood up surfing the wave. I swam to shore after I fell off my board. Cody followed me.

Later that day Alli went back to the house to talk to Sophie. We had to say our last goodbyes.. I cried a lot and so did she. I was going to miss her so much.

"I love you Autumn. So much! I'll see you soon hopefully" Alli spoke.

I cried harder knowing I wouldn't see her soon... "I love you Alli. Please talk to me lots. I already miss you"

"Me too.." She quietly said.

"Have a good flight" she smiled and walked away. I cried...

Cody and I walked across the beach. He grabbed my hands and faced me. "Wow, I actually never thought this day would come.. I'm going to miss you Autumn. A lot." He laughed nervously "I just want to say that you have to visit me in the states. Okay?"

"Cody look... I needed to talk to you about that. I can't visit you this year. My family can't afford it and Angie already told us she'd pay, but my mom and dad can't take anytime off work and I can't go alone because school... I got really bad marks last year and they weren't too happy about it. Most of my grades dropped in the semester that I visited you... I'm sorry Cody" he had so much hurt in his eyes.

"Uhh I understand. I just I'll call and text you a lot. We'll keep in touch! We will make it work! I promise." I started to cry. Big tears. "Hey, Autumn what's wrong?" He asked holding my face with both hands wiping my tears away with his thumbs.

"Cody will you promise me one thing?"

"Of coarse I will, anything."

"Don't forget me"

I looked up into his eyes, mine filled with hurt and fear. I saw a tear run down Cody's cheek.

"I promise"

We hugged for a long time until I looked at the time on my phone. "We better go. You leave tomorrow morning" we held hands when we walked to Cody's house. Not saying a word just enjoying each others company. When we got there I stood outside the door "bye Cody I better be going home"

"Bye Autumn love you"

"Love you... Don't forget me" was the last thing I said before I walked to my house a block away. I cried the whole way.

I woke up in the morning and I felt a big empty hole in my heart. I felt more depressed than ever. I missed my best friends.

Throughout the year Sophie, Ruby, Jake and Josh made their way down to the US, while I stayed at home and studied. A year past and it was a day after Christmas. Cody and Alli were coming back. I was more than excited! I couldn't wait to see the two of them standing in front of me! I missed them a lot. More than a lot actually.

The day came and my group of friends all went to the airport waiting for Cody and Alli to come. Just the two of them. We all saw them walk through the door.. but Cody had intertwined fingers with a girl. My heart sunk.. but I was so happy to see them. Everyone gave theirs hugs and then it was my turn. I started to walk up to them with a huge smile on my face. I opened my arms up to hug Cody and at that moment the words he spilt out of his mouth made my heart go from sunken to shattered....
