⚠ The details on Mei's death

Kai was in the police station getting asked questions.

While killua and gon where in the waiting room silent-

Gon silently cried Just thinking about how he lost another special person-

Killua was mad. He lost Mei, and he was the first person who he met! Along with kai... Killua couldn't believe he actually lost his friend-

Kai came out of the room and made his way out. Gon and killua quickly followed behind. They didn't say a word.

Kai sniffled and wiped his tears away. "Alright! Um... I'm going home" Kai said going a different direction.

"Wait- kai... Um- come sleepover at my place. It isn't safe. You know-" killua mumbled. Kai slowly turned around.

"Whatever you said Mr K..." Kai whispered. They made there way to Killua's house.

Gon looked down on floor. He remembered how mei was always so weird, but on the best way possible. He made him laugh.

"Gon come on-" killua said opening the door. Gon nodded and made his way in. They went to Killua's room. Kai sat on Killua's desk and put his head down. Gon and killua didn't know what to do.

They sat on the bed and looked over at Kai.

Killua frowned and gulped. "Are we going to school tomorrow-" killua whispered to Gon.

"Yeah I think so-" gon whispered back.

Killua got a text and quickly answered it. Gon furrowed his eyebrows and looked back at Kai. He walked up to him and hugged him.

Kai looked up at gon and hugged back.

"Okay- enough lovey dovey stuff-" Kai said giving a weak chuckle.

"You need it though" gon said slightly smiling.

"I do... But im okay-" Kai whispered.

"Kai- I know this was hard for you... Im so sorry" gon whispered.

Kai stared at gon and nodded. "Its alright... But I'm not gonna be happy until I find that cold blooded murder who killed mei" Kai said. "I will get my revenge" Kai said.

"Kai- don't get hurt" gon said.

"And I won't. I promise that I won't die" Kai smiled.

Gon smiled back and hugged him again.

Kai looked up at killua who was still looking at his phone. Kai furrowed his eyebrows. "Now- go with your boyfriend. I'll be here. Thinking" Kai whispered.

Gon nodded. He went back to killua who finally dropped his phone.

Kai stared outside Killua's window.

'I'll avenge you mei... I promise-' Kai thought.

It was the next day and killua, gon and Kai made there way to school.

Kai immediately got a lot of stares. Kai looked away and looked down.

Whispers were heard in the background.

Gon and killua were annoyed. "So kai! Was his death horrifying to see?" Someone random said.

"Was there blood?!" Another person asked.

"Did you kill him?" Another asked. Questions were being asked to kai. As if he was a famous person whom people wanted an autograph from.

Kai got pissed. "Learn how to respect! My friend died and all you care about is how?! He was my love! My everything! What do you want to hear! He hung himself! Is that what you wanna hear! You assholes!" Kai said running away.

Gon and killua got mad As Well. "Mind your damn business assholes!" Killua yelled.

Gon ran after Kai.

Kai went to a empty classroom. He placed his stuff down and took a deep breath.

When Kai said how mei died they were both shocked.

They never asked Kai how he found him. Cause that was mean to ask.

"Kai-" gon said walking up to him.

"I don't believe he died cause he was suicidal.... That isn't mei-" Kai whispered.

"What-" gon whispered.

"When I entered the house. It was dark. So I turned on the lights... And once I entered my room I found mei... He was hanging himself.... But I refuse to believe he died of suicide! He was murdered! And made it look like he killed himself! He had marks on his wrist... And his neck was all red... I don't wanna believe he killed himself. And I won't" Kai said tearing up.

Gon felt sick. He felt so bad.

"Mei..." Kai whispered.

"Hey everything will be okay! We will find the person who killed mei.  I promise" gon whispered.

Kai nodded. Suddenly everyone barged in.

Killua, haruki, michi, minory, jasper, akira and yuri.

"We heard what happened... We are so sorry kai-" minory said.

Kai avoided eye contact with everyone.

"Poor you... I know how much you loved him" haruki said.

Killua went up to kai and rubbed his back.

Kai turned around and looked at everyone "I'll find this bitch and kill him! Whatever it takes! I will do it for mei" Kai said.

Everyone nodded. "Now that leaves 9..." Jasper said.

"We will avenge the death of OUR friend" michi said.

Gon nodded. Killua looked over at gon and left the classroom. Haruki left As Well. Gon was confused.

Kai left too and made his way to his locker.

While going to his locker he saw Mei's locker filled with notes saying may he rest in peace and with flowers. Kai gulped and made his way to class.

"Alright gon! We have to think of a plan" Kai said. Gon nodded and they started talking.

They both stopped when they spotted someone.

"What the fuc-" Kai whispered.

"Killua-?" Gon said confused. They both stared at killua who wasn't alone. He was with haruki. They both shared a kiss in a classroom.

Gon was shocked while Kai was disappointed.

"Gon-" Kai said tugging on his arm. Gon didn't budge. He felt rage. "Let's go-" Kai said.

"That bitch-" gon said. He entered the classroom.

"Gon!" Kai yelled.

"Are you kidding me killua?! Is this why you have been acting so different!?" Gon said.

"Gon" killua said.

"You dirty asshole! Instead of supporting your friend who just lost his boyfriend you are here kissing some bitch!" Gon yelled.

"Excuse me?!" Haruki said.

"Gon-"

"Stop! Just stop! We are done. End of story! Take your stupid bracelet asshat!" Gon said throwing his friendship bracelet at killua.

Gon left the classroom while Kai looked up at killua.

"You messed up Mr K..."  Kai whispered. He chased after gon.

Killua was ashamed. He picked up the bracelet and frowned. "Shit-" killua whispered.
