Chapter 23

4 days has passed and no one heard from jasper. And since then he was pronounced missing.

That was the only thing people could talk about. Jaspers missing case. Gon was worried and He blamed himself.

"Any news?" Killua said startling gon from his thoughts. Gon shrugged.

"Nothing-" Gon whispered.

"Hey..." Killua said leaning close to gon. He grabbed one of his hands "we will find jasper... The police is gonna work on his case. I promise" killua whispered. He gave a warm smile which made Gon feel a little better.

"Alright..." Gon said slightly smiling.

"Im sorry this isn't your year. In fact this year has been horrible-" Killua smiled.

"It has... But- I hope next year it will be better" Gon said giving a warm smile. Killua nodded.

They both went back to working on there homework. But once the bell rang killua went looking for yuri. He found him talking to someone.

"We need to talk yuri" Killua said. Behind yuri.

Yuri slowly turned around he smirked and scoffed. "Zoldyck. For what do I owe the pleasure" he said

Killua looked up and down at yuri. He made eye contact with him and gave a glare. "I need information. And I want you to be very honest" killua whispered. "Do we have a deal?"

Yuri chuckled. He walked up closer to killua. "Of course" he whispered.

"Kai..." Gon said walking into kai's room after school. Kai was currently fixing up his shirt. Gon looked around kai's room.

Clothes scattered around. The smell of weed and the room dark.

"Kai- you need to stop these one night stands-" gon mumbled. He opened the blinds letting in some sun in the room.

"Why- its the only thing keeping me distracted from the awful gross town" Kai mumbled.

Gon sighed. "I know... But this whole mei thing has gotten out of hand- your hurting yourself-"

"I could care less gon. I could. And I am, I don't care about myself. All I want is justice. I want revenge" Kai said leaning in closer to gon.

"Kai... This isn't healthy" gon said staring at Kai deep in the eyes.

"Gon. If all you want is to 'help me' I don't want it. You can let yourself out if you don't mind" Kai glared at Gon.

Gon furrowed his eyebrows. He then made his way out. Kai walked up to his desk and fumbled with his stuff.

Gon made his way outside. He sighed and decided he needed to talk to killua. So he made his way to his place.

Once he arrived he let himself in. He noticed the house quiet. He made his way up to Killua's room. "Killua?" Gon said opening the door.

He saw killua writing stuff down in his notebook. "Gon? What are you doing here?" Killua said placing his stuff down. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah... I just needed a break... Kai isn't doing to well and im worried for jasper" gon said sitting on Killua's bed.

Killua walked up to gon and sat next to him. "Gon I think I know were he is, but I need to tell you something I found out today. And this information is useful" Killua said biting his lip. Gon looked over at killua and slowly nodded.

"What is it?" Gon asked. He scooted closer to killua.

"Jasper is a drug dealer... He had a deal with this lady. Her name is daya. She is a student actually. Anyways basically earlier today i heard yuri and daya have a whole conversation. She said ' he better not forget about my money' and that leads me to believe. He was hurt- for not turning in the money" Killua mumbled. Gon took everything in.

"So... Jasper sells drugs...?" Gon whispered.

"Mhm" killua slowly nodded. "I have a location we can visit... But its dangerous. Drugs and gangs and stuff-"

"We should go! We have to help jasper" gon said standing up and walking to the door

"Gon no! I just said its dangerous! We can get hurt!" Killua said standing up, he walked up to gon and placed his hands on his shoulder "and I don't want you to get hurt..." Killua whispered.

Gon looked up at killua. He slowly leaned in to Killua's face. Killua blushed.

Gon leaned in to Killua's ear and whispered "you've already hurt me. So what can go wrong" Killua looked down. "So let's go!" Gon smiled as he made his way out.

Killua sighed and followed behind gon. They made there way out. "Fine. But I'm gonna protect you. Even if you hate me" killua growled.

"I don't hate you" gon said as he entered Killua's car. "I far from hate you..." He whispered to himself.

Killua looked at gon and frowned. "Gon-" killua said.

"What?" Gon said looking up at killua. Killua sighed and grabbed gon's hands. He slowly pulled them up to him. Gon furrowed his eyebrows. "What-" gon whispered.

"I love you. And I won't ever stop-" killua whispered "Yes. I messed up. And I will always regret it. But I hope you can forgive me one day..." Killua whispered. He kissed gon's hand.

Gon eyes felt like crying. He wanted to kiss him. He wanted to forgive him. But he just didn't have the guts to say it. "Okay..." That's all gon said. Gon looked away and sighed.

Killua stared at gon and then started the car.
