Chapter 5

Kindergarten- 

Killua sat down against the wall. He silently cried.

'I hate kindergarten!' Killua thought. He curled himself into a ball and put his hoodie over his head.

"Hey are you ok?" someone said. Killua looked up and saw this kid with spikey hair. He had a bright smile.

"Leave me alone" killua said.

"Hmmm... No-" gon said sitting next to killua.

Killua looked at gon and gon stared at the rest of the kids play. "Why are you here- wouldn't you rather play with the others?" Killua asked.

"They don't seem cool- but your cool" gon said smiling. Killua's eyes sparkled.

"Really?" Killua said slightly smiling. Gon nodded. He stood up and ran away. Killua stared at gon and smiled. Gon went to the grass and picked some flowers.

Killua ran up to gon. "Im gon by the way!" Gon said handing killua some flowers.

"Killua!" Killua said hugging the flowers.

"Tag your it!" Gon said running away. Killua laughed and ran after him.

"Boys! No coloring in the walls!" The teacher said. Gon and killua both laughed and made there way back into the building. The teacher smiled.

She looked at the wall and it was a sloppy picture of gon and killua. Under it said "best friends" with some words backwards

The teacher placed her hand in the drawing and smiled.

Both killua and gon smiled and washed there hands.

Killua! I made these- for us!" Gon said handing killua a bracelet "look! You can even adjust it. So when we get older. It will still fit!"

"Wow! Thanks Gon!" Killua said putting it on. Gon smiled and did the same. They smiled at each other and went back to playing tag.

"My momma said you can come over! We are gonna play so much! I have dinosaurs" gon said. Wrapping his arm around Killua's shoulder.

Killua had his hand over his shoulder too and they both walked taking the same steps.

"Alright!" Killua said Laughing.

Both boys grew closer. They played thumb wrestles, had sleepovers, sat next to each other, and became really great friends.

4th grade-

"Bean! That's your new name!" Killua whispered to gon.

"And yours is kitty!" Gon said.

"Boys pay attention" the teacher said.

Killua and gon both chuckled and fist bumped each other.

6th grade-

"Minecraft tomorrow after school!" Killua said walking up to the docks. Gon ran behind him and smiled.

"Alright!" Gon said cheering. Killua took off his shirt and looked over at gon. Gon took off his shirt and they both jumped into the water.

Swimming and splashing each other.

As the boys grew older and reached middle school they were the closest as ever.

Until-

7th grade-

"Damn it-" gon said flopping at his bed. "Please not me.... Not me... I can't " gon sobbed.

"Gon honey- foods ready" aunt mito said walking into the room. She stopped and saw gon crying. "Gon are you okay?" Mito said walking up to gon.

"Mito.... I have to ask you something... Do you love me?" Gon whispered.

"Of course! Why? What's wrong?" Mito whispered.

"T-then I have something to tell you.... And I'm sorry-" gon said sobbing. Mito placed her hands in gon's shoulder.

"Im listening" mito said.

Gon slowly nodded and took a breath.

"Hey- can I ask you something" gon said sitting up.

"Yeah" killua said

"When do you think we should have our first kiss? I mean I heard many kids have had there first kiss already"  gon said playing with his fingers.

"Really?! Thirteen year olds have had there first kiss already!" Killua said shocked

"Mhm" gon nodded.

"Wow! They must be so cool and popular" killua said laughing. Gon nodded. He looked up at killua and frowned. He looked away and gripped the piece of paper. "I don't know... Do you think people think were weird for not having our first kiss?" Killua said

"I don't know... But I heard pacifica say something about how we are losers is we haven't had a kiss yet" gon said. Killua bit his lips.

"Then im gonna find a girlfriend!" Killua said standing up. "So I won't be a loser" he said smiling.

Gon sat up too and looked down. "Alright-" gon whispered.

"What? Were gonna find you one too!" Killua said. Gon looked up at killua and faked his smile.

"Great!" Gon said smiling. Killua nodded and started leaving the bunker. Gon looked away and frowned. He hid his letter and ran behind killua.

Present time-

"Yep! Gon! I think I found you a girlfriend!" Killua yelled running up behind gon.

Gon sighed and looked down. Killua was talking about random stuff while gon wasn't listening to a single word.

'Maybe one day-' Gon said in his head.
