Kids-

"So um. What's you're name-"

"My name's kai! Yours?"

"Mei! It's nice to meet you stranger!" Mei said aggressively shaking kais hand.

"You too stranger!" Kai laughed. "I guess this is where our friendship begins! Am I right or am I right?!" Kai said.

"I think wrong" mei laughed.

"Boys! Pay attention to class!" The teacher yelled. Kai and mei both went back to doing there school work.

"Hold my hand! Now!" Kai yelled. Mei placed his hand on kais hand.

"Why are you making me do this?" Mei laughed.

"I'm scared-" kai said.

"It's a 2 FEET JUMP!" mei yelled.

"Still scary!" Kai said. Mei pushed kai down. Kai fell flat face on the ground and mei just laughed.

"Sorry dork!" Mei said. Kai punched mei in the shoulder.

"Hmph. Rude" kai said crossing his arms.

Mei smiled and hugged kai.

Middle school-

"Are you guys twins?" Someone asked.

After kai and mei being friends for years. They have gotten used to being called "twins" although they were just best friends.

"Yeah we are" mei said.

"Oh cool! I never met twins!" The kid said.

Kai laughed. Mei nodded he held kais hand. "Let's go twin" mei said. Kai rolled his eyes.

"Mei. We are middle schoolers! People should know that we aren't twins... And that we are-"

"Friends! I KNOWWWWW! But it's funny seeing people's reactions when they call us twins" mei smirked. Kai looked away and lifted up his glasses. "Don't get upset" mei said giving his usual warm smile. Kai always got happy when he seems his smile.

"I'm not-" kai smiled. Mei smiled back.

"Alright! What should we do first?! We can play my wii- or play some bored games? OH! or! Throw eggs at my neighbors!" Kai said making a evil grin.

"Um..." Mei said looking away.

"What's wrong?" Kai asked sitting next to mei. "Are you okay? I-is it you're family again?"

"Nah- it's just... Can I ask you something?" Mei said facing kai. "It's something I need to tell you"

"Oh- sure" kai said smiling. "Go ahead"

Mei looked away.

"Spit it out mei! You know I get worried!" Kai said frowning. "say it! How is it so hard?!" Kai said irritated. "Mei?"

"Uh- so like basically- you know.... How me and you talked about some random shit and stuff-" mei said.

"Yeah?"

"Well... I have something random and shitty to say... So um basically- I like you and yeah, okay now let's go throw eggs at the neighbors" mei said standing up.

"Huh?!" Kai yelled. "Wait mei!" Kai said grabbing his hand. "Y-you what?!"

"Like you.... Like. Actually like like you- like um... Crush. Kiss.... Couple stuff?" Mei said not looking at kai in the eyes.
