Chapter 26

Sirens was heard in the distance.

Gon was still crying his eyes out as Killua wrapped his arms around him humming a song trying his hardest to calm down gon.

Kai talked to the police. "Yeah we just found him...." Kai mumbled.

Killua talked to the police too and told him everything he saw. But once the police walked up to go.

Gon kept quiet. He was traumatized. "Sir. We really need you to answer our questions" the cop said.

Gon took a deep breath. "What is there to say.... I just found my..." Gon stopped. He didn't know what jasper was to him

"Sir?" The cop said.

"I just found him in the water... What else can I say-" gon whispered. He looked away and took a deep breath.

Once everything was done they all made their way home. Gon went back to his place and cried the whole night.

Killua texted him nonstop but no answer.

. . . . . . . Deadly Mystery . . . . . . .

"It's been 1 week! Gon still hasn't answered any of my texts! And whenever I try visiting him! Mito isn't letting me in!" Killua groaned as he flopped himself in kai's bed.

"Whatever he probably still needs time," Kai said, inhaling toxic smoke. "Here! Take a break" Kai said, handing Killua a cigarette.

"No thanks..." Killua mumbled rolling his eyes. "I'm gonna go check up on him again," Killua said, leaving. He made his way to Gon's house. He knocked and mito opened the door "hi...can I see gon please-" killua asked.

"Killua-"

"Please mito! It's been a week. I wanna check up on my friend" killua pleaded

Mito looked into Killua's eyes and saw his pain. She sighed and finally opened the door wider so Killua could enter. "Make it quick-"

Killua ran upstairs and knocked. No answer.

Killua opened the door knob and it revealed gon writing in a book. Gon looked up at Killua and frowned. "Hey.." Killua said

"Hi-" gon whispered. "What are you doing here?"

"It's been a week. I needed to make sure your okay-" killua whispered as he sat down on gon's bed. Gon looked up at Killua and sighed.

"I'm better...." Gon whispered. "Now can you leave?"

"Why? This isn't just about jasper is it?" Killua said as he touched gon's hand. But gon pulled it away. "Gon?" Killua whispered.

"Can you be honest? And not lie to me" gon said clearing his throat. Killua nodded and scooted closer to Gon. "Are you still hooking up with haruki?" Gon whispered. Killua looked deep into Gon's eyes. Gon took a deep breath.

"No. I haven't I promise, Me and her...are nothing" Killua said, Gon looked at Killua making sure he wasn't lying. And by the looks of it... He wasn't

"Okay-" Gon said looking down. "How did Kai find out about our hook up-" Gon asked his second question.

"I told him," Killua said plain and simple. "I told him how happy I was after that moment we shared" Killua smiled. "Can I ask my question now?" Killua said. Gon nodded. "What did Kai tell you that made you so upset?" Killua questioned.

Gon bit his lips and looked down "he said... many things-" Gon sighed, "now i'm so insecure .." Gon said. Killua held Gon's hand and kissed it.

"It's okay- I'm here now. Whatever Kai said. Never. Ever! Let that get to you" Killua whispered cupping Gon's face. Gon's eyes filled up and he slowly nodded,

"Thank you. Killua" Gon whispered. "I love you..." Gon whispered. "I hope I never lose you'' Gon whispered.

"I hope I never lose you gon..." Killua said.

The boys smiled and pulled each other into a hug. They were happy. And in love. Until-

*flash forward*

"Let go of me!" Gon yelled. The man dropped gon to the ground and handcuffed him to the wall. Gon groaned.

The man turned the lights off and left the room. All that was on was a red light. Gon started heavy breathing.

His wound has gotten worse. Gon looked around and noticed multiple people hanging up against the wall with chains.

'Are they dead?' Gon thought

Gon gasped and panicked he started moving the chains made a loud sound

But gon didn't care. He noticed movement. Gon looked at the person its was a girl-

She was stripped down but only had her bra and underwear. Gon was weirded out.

The girl started moving around. She sighed. Gon stared at her. The girl looked slightly up at gon.

Gon's eyes widened when he noticed her.

"Euphemia....?"
