Hearing His Voice

        After my shift was over, I looked at Ernie,

"How did I do?" I asked him,

"You did good kid, consider yourself hired" he said as he offered his hand for me to shake, I smiled.

"Thank you Ernie, I won't let you down" I said, he smiled at me,

"I know you won't, I'll see you tomorrow, same time" he said, I smiled and nodded, changing my shirt back, putting it in the locker that he gave me and walked out. As I was walking home I started to think,

'What am I going to tell the rangers? When is the right time to tell them? I guess I could show up when they really need help and explain it to them then' I thought, shaking my head, I was starting to get a headache from all of the thinking I was doing.

        It didn't take me that long to get home, my house is not that far from the center which is good. I walked into the house, doing my  homework, Mom had made sure that I remembered about my school work while I was here. Speaking of her, I wonder how she was doing, and if she was eating good. She really gets into her work, sometimes neglecting her health and hunger for her work. After eating, I had decided to make some mac and cheese and tuna fish, with some strawberry kiwi water, I did the dishes and went off to bed. Wonder what tomorrow was going to bring.

        The next morning seemed to come on quickly, before I knew it my alarm clock was going off. Groaning, I reached and turned it off. Getting up, I got dressed, ate oatmeal with strawberries and a cup of milk. After breakfast, dishes and teeth, I then grabbed my back pack and was my way to school, the fist thing that I had noticed was Trini and Kim behind a stand. I walked over to them,

"Morning, what are you two doing?" I asked them as I got there.

"Morning Ava, were trying to get signatures to get them to clean the pollution at the dump, would you like yo sign?" Kim asked.

"Love to" I told them, they smiled and handed me the clipboard, I signed it.

"Thank you, we are meting up after school" Trini said,

"Let me let Ernie know, one second" I said. I got on the phone with him,

"Hey Ava, how may I help you?" I heard him ask,

"Is it okay if I come in late today? I want to help two of my friends clean up the pollution at the dump. Its a good cause" I said,

"Of course you can, as long as you stay over time" I could hear him joking, he was a really good person.

"Thank you, and of course I will" I said, he told me that he'd see me later on and said goodbye. I hung up and walked back to the stand,

"Well he said yes, though I got to work overtime" I joked,

"Thank you, and I am so sorry that you have to work overtime" Trini said,

"It's okay really, its worth it, and so far I like working there" I said. They got the others to sign, but they could not go with us. The girls seemed a little upset, to make them smile, I said "Hey, it can be a girls evening" it had worked, they both smiled at me, I smiled back my plan  had work, made them smile. After we talked for a little while longer we went to class. I have to admit, classes or not that different then it was in the future, well if you do not count harder classes. It was in the middle of class, that I had started to get a headache, I stiffened, the  headache was very familiar, I hope that I was incorrect. Trini must have noticed it, she grabbed my arm,

"Are you okay Ava?" she asked,

"Headache" I said. Holding onto my head, that is when I heard his voice,

'Meet me in the field in the forest' how was he here, how did he follow me??

'I will not fight you for the sake of fighting Koragg' I thought to him, it was true, there was no way I was going to fight him just because he  wanted me to.

'You do not have a choice, if you do not show. I will hurt your precious Mother' he thought to me, he showed me my Mother in the orb like thing, that she had told me that he had caught Udona in.

'Do not hurt her!' I shouted at him.

'Then meet me' he thought.

'when?' I asked,

'An hour 'I had no choice in the matter, I had to do what he said.

'Fine, I'll be there, just don't hurt her' the headache went away...
