Grumble Bee

Jason had invited all of us to shoot some hoops, I have no idea how I was talked into this, I tried to get out of it via volunteering to help Billy study. Though that seemed to fall into the cracks when he had said that Trini was going to help him study, Zack took me by the shoulders and dragged me away. I think the reason why they want me to play is because I am horrible at this game. We were having a friendly game, girls against guys, Kimi and I vs Jason and Zack. I could tell that Kimi was worrying about Billy, I patted her on the shoulder,

"It's okay Kimi, he's going to be fine. This is something that he is going to have to face" I told her,

"I know I just can't___" before she could finish, I cut her off,

"I know what you mean, I'm worried about him too." I told her. That is when the putties decided to show up, way to ruin a moment, Rita! We finished the first batch quickly, then Goldar and Korrag showed up with a bunch of new putties. We fought them, me and Korrag and Kimi, Jason and Zack against Goldar and the putties. We were no match for them, we were soon tied up in an electric rope and behind a force field. Korrag told me that he'd let me out, if I went with him, back to his present, I told him no. He glared at me and took off, telling me that he would hear me if I changed my mind.

A good while later, the others orb to the basketball court where we were tied up. They try and untie us but are soon called away to fight Grumble Bee.

"Go guys, they need you" I told them.

"But what about you all?" Trini asked me,

"Were fine, right guys?" I asked them.

"Were fine, go" Kimi said,

"Really we are" Zack

"We'll be there before you know it, now go" Jason, they nodded and left. Not that much later, we were free due to Alpha,

"Thank you, Alpha," I told him over the communicator, "Remind me to give you a hug when I see you next time, please"

"No problem, Ava, and I'll be sure to remind you" Alpha said. We soon morph and teleport to the other rangers to help them with the Grumble Bee. The Grumble Bee brings out putties to help him, though they do not stand that long, we took them out quickly. He sends out his Sonic Wave attack, which ends up defeaing us,

"Can you help buddy?" I asked my folding zord, to which he flew and unfolded and let out a majestic cry, one that I could not hear at first, but at the end I could, "Thank you" he let out a trill.

"Thank you, Ava," Jason told me,

"Don't thank me, thank Phoenix" I told them, and they did, to which he gave another trill,

"That's his way of saying your welcome" I informed them. Alpha teleports a weapon to Billy, he shoots a foam that glued the Grumble Bee's wings. That is when Rita, of course, made her monster grow. The rangers formed the megazord. "Do you guys need to zord up?"

"Not at the moment Ava, if that is okay" I heard Kimi say,

"That is completely fine, let me know if you need me and I'll jump right in" I told them

"Will do" Jason said. I backed away and demorphed and watched the battle, I knew then that they would not need me. After a few good hits from the Grumble Bee, they were able to finish him off with the Power Sword.

We were at the Youth Center, and were greeted by Tommy, he was getting ready for an upcoming karate tournament. Tommy expresses that he couldn't help.

"It's okay Tommy they were able to stop him" I told him,

"You helped out too Ava" Kimi joked,

"I know, but I knew that you guys had it, I knew that I did not have to step in" she giggled and hugged me, I saw in the corner of my eye that Tommy looked a little jealous. I backed away a little, I guess that he is starting to like Kimi, yay! They would make a cute couple. (A/N: Sorry if I'm making her a little too oblivious, this is exactly what I would think in this situation.) Billy then comes in, happy that he got an A on the latest exam and got accepted into the scholar's program, how?? I got an A- on mine. I smiled and hugged him, there was that look again in Tommy's eye, what was going on?? "Can we study together one day?" I asked him.

"Sure, I don't mind" he said, I smiled at him,

"Thank you" I told him. Ms. Appleby told Bulk and Skull that if they do not get a C on their next exam, the top seven students will be tutoring them all summer long. It did not take Zack that long to figure out that it was us that she was talking about. They went to help them study, they turned to me when I did not move with them. "There are already enough of you to help them, and there is something that I got to do" I went out of the room to orb away with the watch, before I could touch it however, I am already there.

"How were you able to get in Ava without us sensing it on the Power Grid?" Zordon asked curiously, Alpha looked that way too.

"Before I explain that, there is one thing I have to do" at that they both looked at me confused, I then hugged Alpha, he seemed to like it.

"Now I see what they mean, you do give good hugs Ava" Alpha said, I thanked him, I then turned to Zordon,

"Don't worry Zordon, if we ever meet in person, I'll be sure to give you one of my best hugs. And as for the other thing, I am not sure how I got here, I just thought that I wanted to come here and was about to use my watch, then I was here"

"Thank you, Ava, Alpha run a test. I think I might know what is going on here, but I need to be sure" Zordon said, Alpha agreed and began to run some test on me, after he finished, he turned to Zordon,

"You were correct" he told him,

"Correct on what, what is going on?" I asked them,

"It seems that you are developing more and more powers of the Phoenix Ava" Zordon said,

"That means I can travel through fire, correct?" I asked him, he nodded at that. "Am I going to keep developing more and more powers of the Phoenix?" I asked them.

"I believe so, you can develop the power to control fire, affect machines and zords with your singing, which will sound like trills and the ability to fly" Zordon said, "Do not worry about that, we will teach you how to control them when the time comes. Now do you want to get back to your friends?" he asked, I could imagine that they are still helping Bulk and Skull. When they saw the look on my face, they laughed and told me that they would help me with my 'Flaming', that is what I decided to call it. We spent the rest of the day training until I can get the hang of it, and not flame at random times. We did this via Alpha scaring me at random times and eventually I stopped flaming when he did that. I swear they were having a field day with this, even though they tell me they're not.
