Doomsday

The mayor had decided to make the first ever 'Power Ranger Day'. There will be a large gathering in the park, I don't know if I should show up or not, I mean do I count as one. I started pacing without even noticing that I was, Zack grabbed me by my shoulders and pulled me to a halt.

"Easy girl, you're going to wear a hole in the floor, what's going on?" he asked me.

"She most likely doesn't know if she should join us at the 'Power Ranger Day' am I right Ava?" Billy asked, I nodded, we were all hanging out at the command center, talking about the upcoming event later today.

"I mean, I don't know if I should go, I don't even kno__" before I could finish, Kimi walked in front of me, and looked down at me, which is not hard to do, I am tiny compared to them.

"Of course, they want you there, you're a part of the ranger team, right guys?" she asked them, they nodded their heads agreeing with Kimi.

"Your friends are right; you should be there. We might not have picked you when we did the others, but you have proven yourself. And if we had another power coin at the time, we would have picked you as well" Zordon said,

"He is right Ava, we might not have picked you along with the other rangers, but you are a power ranger, and just as much as part of the team as any of them are"

"You guys, thank you, then I'll go" I told them, I love my friends, they are like my family, they all smiled and cheered that I was going to take part at 'Power Ranger Day', I was excited to see how it would go.

We showed up at the event, unmorphed at first, it was Jason's idea. I was surprised by how many people showed up, they seemed to be wearing the colors of their favorite Power Ranger, as I was looking around me, I noticed all the colors except purple, probably should have seen that coming. Trini must have noticed my face because she giggled, I gave her the 'What?' face, she pointed behind me,

"You're looking in the wrong direction" I looked at her confused, so she turned me around and I saw a lot of people, even Nat was dressed in purple. "You have a lot more fans than you think you do Ava"

"I guess I do" I gave her a small smile.

"I don't see your boyfriend Ava" Kimi said, even though she was teasing me, I can see that she is worried that Tommy wasn't here.

"You goof, you know that we are not dating, and I will get you two together no matter what I must do. And I know that he'll be here, just give him time" I told her, she gave me the 'We'll see about it look', she still looked worried, I must admit so was I. Bulk and Skull show up, he's dressed up as the 'Incredible Bulkster' and Skull as the 'Super Skull', they were of course trying to steal the Power Rangers thunder. Everyone seemed to disappear at that point, the only ones remaining were my friends and I, Rita of course.

We went to the command center where Zordon filled us in on the dangerous situation that was going on. We morph and teleport to downtown Angel Grove. They summoned their Megazord, and I summoned my phoenix zord. We could not attack, so I summoned the Dragonzord. Despite summoning him, we were unable to finish off the Cyclopsis. Zordon calls upon Titanus and the Rangers formed the Ultrazord, which defeated him, but he remained intact. Rita mad about this, made a sink hole under Titanus, sucking it in. We tried to save the Carrierzord, but was blasted away, and Titanus sunk. As we were sad about losing Titanus Rita summoned Lokar to Earth, he instantly restores Cyclopsis. We had to retreat.

Part Two

We are forced to wait while our zords recharge.

"I have a crazy idea, though I don't know 100 present if it will work or not" I said,

"What is it?" Jason asked,

"This will only be for when we have no other option. But what if we combined my zord with you. Mom told me before I left that it can be combined, I think she knew that we might need to combine them one day" I told the others, at first, I was confused on why she told me this, and now I know why.

"That could be an idea, we can try that as I last resort" Zack said and I nodded, I know I am the one that came up with the idea, but I am hoping that we do not have to use it. Jason decides to take the zords back into battle, over Zordon's and Billy's objections. We returned to the city to face Cyclopsis again, but it seemed weakened. It is easily overwhelmed and loses an arm in the fight. I summoned the Dragonzord, but the Dragonzord was too weak and was defeated by one hit, severing his tail. Lokar then blasted the zord with his own energy, taking the Megazord out. It is now just me in the fight. Rita then attacks us straight on with her staff, overwhelming our systems. We are forced to evacuate as the zords vanish piece by piece. We are then demorphed and land in a still deserted Angel Grove Park, those poor people. I feel a hand on my shoulder,

"Don't worry Ava, we will free them" Zack told me, I gave him a small smile. We were unable to use our communicators to connect with the command center. We went to Billy's lab; he was trying to get communication back online. Before he could finish, Goldar comes with putties, I knew that he came to destroy the rangers, and no doubt to deliver me to Korrag. Billy completes his work, and we teleport to the command center, before Goldar could attack. Zordon then reveals that Alpha critical findings: Cyclopsis must adjust its systems to compensate each time we change zords. He believes if the rangers change modes frequently enough, he will become overwhelmed and vulnerable.

"Well done, Alpha, my I give you a hug?" I told him, I wanted to hug him, but I didn't know if he wanted me to.

"Aiie aie aie, no problem and sure" he said, arms open,

"Yay" I said and hugged him, the other chuckled. Zordon pulls Titanus from the sinkhole, with the zords re charged, we morphed and teleported to the city. They called on their Dinozords and I the Phoenix zord and attacked individually. They formed the Megazord, and the Dragonzord was called. Cyclopsis is still winning. The Dragonzord did, however, take off its bladed hands. After taking another energy blast from Lokar, the Rangers summon Titanus. And make the Ultrazord,

"How would you like to try and form our zords together for the final blow Ava?" I heard Jason ask.

"Love to" I told him, we combined our zords together,

"Welcome abord Ava" Billy said as I came in,

"Thanks, the cockpit is amazing" I told them, we then attacked using the Phoenix Blade, and Zordon's idea worked, the Cyclopsis was gone. Lokar escapes just as we finished him.

The people are returned to Angel Grove Park, and it seems that they had no clue that they were gone to begin with. We arrive, the children argue on which ranger is better and stronger than the others. I hear Tommy say

"They're all totally awesome" he sees that I am watching him and smirks with a wink, I wave at him.

After the celebration, we are once again at the command center, Zordon is thanking us for what we did today. He gives us all the chance to return to our everyday lives or choose to remain a power ranger. All of us choose to remain a ranger, I love being a ranger and helping others, especially with my friends by my side every step of the way. Zordon seemed pleased with our answers, as if we were going to have any different answers.
