A Bad Reflection of You

I was standing by my locker waiting for the others to show up, we would choose a locker to meet up at, yesterday was Kimi's locker and today is mine. I didn't want them to think that we always must meet at my locker, so I told them the plan, each day we would meet in order: Jason's, then Billy's, Zack's, Trini's, Kimi's and then mine. I chose to do mine last, so that way they each had a turn. When I told them about this idea, they chuckled and laughed saying it was just like me. I smiled when I saw them come in, but something was off about them, there was something going on, and I didn't like it at all. Jason slammed Nat against the looker, why would he do something like that? Nat is an awesome person, he's tall with short blonde almost white hair and blue eyes that looked like the sky, he was super nice.

"What are you guys doing? Nat are you alright?" I asked as I went over to them, helping Nat up and hugging him, glaring at them, something is going on....

"Where just doing a harmless prank babe, nothing to worry about. Why don't you go ahead" Jason said, and practically pushing Nat and I out of the hallway and outside. We were at school early, I wanted to get some studying done and could not do it at home. I sighed and looked at Nat, he seemed as confused as I was.

"Are you any good at math?" I asked him,

"Only if your good at science" he replied, I smiled and nodded, that was my best subject, well besides english. He smiled back at me, and we went to the nearby tree and sat down, we helped each other study. We walked into the hallway, it was about halfway through the school day, when Mr. Caplan went to have a drink and got met with suds. My so called 'Friends' were laughing at this. I looked at them confused, what was going on? They looked at me and smirked, Mr. Caplan yelled detention at them and then turned towards me,

"Where you a part of this?" he asked angrily, and before 'Jason' could open his mouth, and most likely lie and say that I was, Nat beat him to it.

"No sir, she was with me, we were studying under the tree" Nat said,

"Is this true Ms. Langtree?" he asked me, my so called 'friends' glaring at me, wanting me to say that he was lying, but why??

"Yes sir, it's true. I came early to study math, it is my worst subject and came across Nat when I was walking up the stairs, he had the same thought as I did, except with science instead. We talked for a bit and decided to help each other study so we went to the tree and sat down" I explained, not mentioning 'Jason' shoving Nat or seeing them do the 'innocent' prank. He sighed and nodded. My so called friends leave, and my real ones come out, what is going on? Was it something Rita did? I walked over to them as Jason turned off the fountain. I looked at it all closely.

"What's going on Ava?" Kimi asked me,

"That is what I am trying to figure out" I told them. I decided while they were in detention I was going to walk around town, I needed to get me somethings anyway. As I was walking, I heard screams and went to check it out, the fake, that's what I started to call them, rangers were attacking Angel Grove. I gulped as Jason turned to me,

"Why don't you morph and join in on the fun?" he asked,

"Who are you? I know that you're not my friends, I knew from the beginning" I told them,

"If you knew, then why didn't you say anything to the principle, or why didn't you say anything about us pushing that push over Nathan or the fountain?" Billy asked,

"Because that is not who I am, and even if I did say something, that would only lead my real friends to getting to even more trouble than before" I told them.

"That was the point" Trini said.

"You are our friend Ava, haven't you noticed there is no fake you. We tried, but everyone that we tried failed, we just need you to make it complete. Then after that, you can leave with Korrag" Zack said. I was trying to distract them, until the others can get here. Yes, I am strong, but its me against all of them, I'd be a sitting duck, after my defeat, they'd probably hand deliver me to Korrag on a silver platter. Luck was on my side, the others arrived just in time. I stepped back and let them battle their clones, the girls, Billy and Zack used their Power Weapons and down go the clones. While they were doing that, Jason looked at me and we nodded, we attacked the Twin Man together, causing him to shed his disguise. They then got him with the Blade Blaster and finally destroyed him.

"Nice going guys, now go back to the school before he figures out your gone" I told them, they nodded at me, gave me a hug of course and was gone, I sighed, finally I can take a breather. I got everything I needed and looked around me, orbing home. I sighed and laid down on the bed, tired.
