Your mother never came back to the room. Once she left your room door you didn't see her again for the rest of the day. The nurse, however, would come during meal times to give you your food. You just laid in the hospital bed and watched TV hoping that it would get you to sleep faster. You had a feeling inside of you, that wanted to go to sleep, but your mind contradicted that feeling.

A part of you wanted to go to sleep and see Ji-Young. But the other half thought there was something off with him and wondered what he would do in certain situations. Call it being cautious or being crazy, but it's better to be cautious and waiting for danger instead of facing it head-on. Plus what else was there to do but sleep? Going to the dream world was better than staying in the real one.

The moon was shining through the hospital windows and illuminated your surroundings through the darkness. You were tired and you were getting ready to go to sleep when your mother walked through the door. Her face was neutral and her eyes held no emotion for you to see.

" I would have thought visiting hours would be over. "

" They are but since I'm your mother they let me come and see you before I go home. "

   " When can I leave? "

" In a few days. They said that they are going to test you after tomorrow to make sure you're in good condition before you leave the hospital. "

   " Alright. I'll see you later. "

" Is there anything you need or want before I go? "

" No, I'm fine. I just want some rest. "

   " Okay. I'll see you tomorrow. "

Your mom shut the door and you saw her walk by the window before her figure disappeared from your sight. You turned around in the bed and tried your best to be comfortable. It was hard with your foot being strapped up but you managed to get comfy. You closed your eyes and the sandman lured you to sleep. You slept and from the hospital, you entered the dream world.

When you opened your eyes you saw that you were in a house. All of the surroundings looked like they were in a filter. It was light and the colors were warm. You were standing in front of the doorway that led to the outside world beyond the house. Down the hall, you could see a kitchen with an island and bar stools.

There was a set of stairs leading upwards and out of the main hallway and beside the stairs was a living room. You walked down the hall slowly before entering the kitchen. Inside you saw a lot of cutlery and equipment you use to cook. No one was in the kitchen so you moved to the living room. Inside the living room was a couple of bookcases and a fireplace.

There was a TV hanging above the fireplace and there was a couch in front of the fireplace. Sitting on the couching reading a book was a man you've seen before. Of course, he looked like he had the same font of warm colors as the house. But you knew who he was.

   " Ji-Young? "

The man looked up from his book and towards you. His hair was a light purple but his eyes were a dark purple. His skin was fair and he wore glasses that sat on his nose. He was wearing a black turtleneck shirt, that had long sleeves, and black fancy dress pants. His shoes were black and fancy along with his jacket that reached his calves.

He set his book down on the coffee table in front of him and stood from the couch. His smile was small but you could see his pearly white teeth through his lips. He took his glasses and set them on top of his head while he walked towards you. When he was standing in front of you he pulled a hand up and gave a small wave.

   " Hi, Y/n. "

" What dream are we in now? What's it about? "

" This one is about nothing. "

   " Nothing? "

   " Yes, nothing. "

" But how can it be about nothing? "

" Come sit down and I'll explain. "

Ji-Young walked back towards the couch with you following him. He sat down in the same spot and you sat on the opposite end of the couch from him. He didn't seem to mind but inside he was screaming to get closer to you.

" Sometimes you have dreams that are calm and mean to give you a place for comfort and relaxation. This is one of those. "

" So, no dancing or cyber bots, or anything? "

" None at all. Welcome to a dream of calmness. Here there are no scenarios and you don't have to act out anything. It's your comfort place. "

" I get it. So, because we're here you don't-"

" I don't have to play a role of some kind. Here, in these places, I can be Ji-Young the dream walker. "

" Interesting. What happens to you when I wake up? "

" I can either stay in the dream you left or go to someone else's. "

" What did you do? "

" I stayed in your dream for a while. It was nice being a king while it lasted. "

You could only lean against the couch and stare around the room. A calmness had certainly settled over you and you felt like nothing was wrong. Your injuries were nonexistent because it was a dream so you didn't feel any pain. You looked towards Ji-Young once more to see him raise his hand in the air. He waved his hand around and you could see small particles around his hand as he waved it around.

The sparks left his hand as soon as an object appeared between his fingers. It was a red rose. The red color on the rose was bright and looked like the warm filter was not on it. He set it on your thighs and leaned against the couch.

   " A rose for a rose. "

' Since when has he been so formal? I know he's had to act like it before but he doesn't have to now. '
