Another Role

   " What's wrong? "

   " Nothing. "

   " Then why don't you take my hand? There's somewhere I want to go. "

   " I can swim there on my own. "

   " I have a fin! I think I can get us there faster. "

   " Again, I'll swim. "

   " You're so stubborn. "

He forcefully grabbed your hand and pulled you towards him. He put his arm around you and brought you really close to him. He put one arm around the front of your hips while the other one remained on your shoulder. He basically was pressing you fully against his chest. You tried pulling his arm off but he was stronger and you couldn't manage to pull it off.

He started swimming and you could feel his fin moving around beneath his legs. He was swimming deeper and deeper into the waters. The light blue faded into something darker and you could see blackness at the bottom. You were heading straight towards it. You struggled even more now.

   " Let me go! "

   " You'll be fine! "

   " I don't care I want you to let me go right now! "

   " Nah. "

   " You're awful! "

The blackness started consuming you and you closed your eyes. Ji-Young's arms left your waist and you just floated. Then, you could hear birds chirping and the wind blowing. When you opened your eyes you saw that you were in a different scenario. You were not in the waters anymore.

Now, you were in a city. People were running around and you were standing in front of a tall skyscraper. You looked into a building and saw a man start to walk out. He was holding a knife and there was blood all over him. He was smiling like a crazy man and his eyes were focused on no one, but you.

   " Y/n~"

The man had white hair and green eyes. He was wearing business attire and he was stumbling towards you. You were frightened and shaking. 

   " Y/n! You have to keep running! "

Someone grabbed your hand and the two of you started running away from the psycho. You focused on your feet as you started to run. The person in front of you had black hair and light ocean blue eyes. His hand held yours as you ran.

   " My flower! Get back here! "

Eventually, you passed a flower shop and most of the city itself. You ran around a corner and then found an ally way to stand in and take a break. You leaned against the wall as you tried to control your breathing. You looked at the man beside you to see him doing the same thing, You were both breathing hard, you were both tired of running.

   " Ji-Young? "

   What? Who's Ji-Young? Don't tell me Malcolm brainwashed you. Scotty is my name in case you forgot it while in that panic run. "

   ' So, where is Ji-Young? '

   " Flower~ "

Scotty ran to the other side of the ally and put his back to the wall. He stood right beside you and held your hand. You looked into the streets and saw Malcolm slowly walking down the street. He still held a knife in his hand.

He had a crazed look on his face and his hair was disheveled. You could see the blood lust in his eyes and it frightened you. He twirled the knife in his hand as he passed the ally you were hidden in. When he passed by you and Scotty moved to the other side of the ally and pressed yourselves into the wall. You waited a few more minutes before leaving the ally way.

You turned towards Scotty but he was gone. The whole city was deserted and no one was around, not even the birds. You started walking back the way you came. The air had even stilled as you walked and you were curious about what was going on. 

   " Y/n~ " 

The creepy voice of Malcolm rang in your ears and to your left side stood the crazed man. He didn't have the knife in his hands and he was walking towards you.

   " Well, that's what we call a pause. You run really fast by the way. "

   " What? "

   " Y/n, it's Ji-Young. "

   " Your role this time was a crazy psycho? "

   " No, it was just some obsessed man. "

   " You literally gave me a heart attack when I saw you. Next time please warn me. "

   " I can't. It's part of the story. "

   " You say that as if I can't change the story. It's my dream, why shouldn't I be able to change it if I want to? "

   " Because it is what it is. It's a dream so just roll with it. And hey, don't call my character a crazy psycho. I understand where he's coming from in a way. "

   " And how do you understand? "

   " Well, he loves your character and after loving her for a little while she chooses someone over him. What's wrong with that. "

   " What's wrong with that is the fact that he killed a lot of people in that building. Over a lover who doesn't like him back, he shouldn't be killing anyone. "

   " Se la vie. "

   " So, this is a pause? "

   " Yes, it means that the dream is pausing, because it doesn't know where to go from here. "

   " I see. This gives me a break. I don't want to run while I'm sleeping. "

You took a seat on the ground and leaned against one of the buildings. You looked at the sky and saw birds that stayed in the air, they were not moving at all. It really looked like the whole dream had stopped. Ji-Young just looked at you and his eyes held the same look they did in the last dream. One of want. 

Ji-Young had been busy since you left him last. He explored more of your brain and learned what you liked and disliked. He learned all he could about you in order to get closer. He wanted to make you his right then and there but he knew he couldn't yet. He was a patient man and he would wait for an eternity if he had to, but of course, he wouldn't let it come to that. 

He had a plan and he was ready to put it in action, but it just wasn't time yet.
