"But, you can not change what has already happened." I got up slowly. There's only one way to defeat him. I need to use it. "Where light goes…" I could barely speak, struggling to walk, "Darkness follows." I suddenly felt anger flow through my body, "Where Darkness Reigns, light fades!"

My hand began to glow bright, I ran towards the Overlord, "You've done so much, all for you to just die!" When I reached him, he quickly tried to block, but the moment I touched him, everything lit up. 

My arm was covered in antifire, burning it, and then the wave hit. First everything was blown away, the Overlord being at the center of it all. Second the boom came. I crashed into a building, breaking through most floors until it completely broke my fall. 

I stayed there, laying down, it felt like days had passed. Like I was there for an eternity. Stuck in a place I didn't want to be in. "I…" I tried to speak, "I did it." I was still in shock. I had finally done something. Something that seemed impossible at first. "I killed him. The Overlord is dead." I looked up, but I couldn't see the sky. "Mom, dad…" my eyes were slowly closing, "Cayden, I did it for…" my eyes closed, in the distance, I could hear people calling out for me, but I didn't have the energy to claim my name. I need to rest. For a while.

"Aiden!" I call out to him, "Aiden please! Where are you!" I start to dig around, looking for any signs of him. "Aiden!" Amelia had joined me, and soon so did the others. We have been looking for him. For hours. "Amelia, what if we don't find him? What if he's…" Amelia looked at me, "No, we-we will find him. We have to. He's still alive. I know he is."

"Hey, I know I'm interrupting your search, but maybe I can help." I look at the boy, who was helping us fight the Overlord, "Who are you?" I ask him, he walks up to me "My name is Hugo. And I just want to thank you for your help today. But I don't want to be mean and leave you to find your lost friend. He really seemed to know what he was doing."

"His name is Aiden, you can call me Kaida." Hugo, you seem nice. "I would really appreciate the help. I don't know how to describe his looks, but he will have brown hair, blue eyes, and a smile on his face." One I wish I could see more often. "Copy that. Radio 1, looking for a…" he looks at me, "fifteen year old, I believe." He holds the weird box again close to his face, "A fifteen year old male, brown hair, and goes by the name Aiden."

Voices start coming out of the box he is holding, "By any chance, would this male be dressed like an eighteen hundreds wizard?" Hugo looks at me, confused, "He is a wizard, yes." He grabs his box, "What year do you think it is?" I looked at him, "we are in the eighteen hun…" Hugo interrupts me, "Two hundred years off. We are actually in 2023." My eyes widened in surprise, "Like, as in the future?" He shook his head.

"How is this possible?" He looked at my, and the voices came back, "He seems to be out of it. Like he is not focusing on the current situation." Hugo grabbed his box, "Okay, I'll be sure to send help your way." I grabbed my sword, "Where is he?" Hugo noticed my gesture, and held one hand up, "I'll take you there." He began to walk towards some building. It had fallen, and seemed to be damaged, but not from the fall.

"Is he there?" Hugo looked back at me, "Normally I don't do this, but you were quick to grab your sword, that shows how much you care for him." He winked, "Could be due to a certain reason, like a boyfriend maybe?" I turned red and looked away immediately, "I-I would never!" He chuckled a little, "Nice." He continued to walk. I like him, as a friend, it's just embarrassing that people think we are dating. I mean I barely know him.
