The Plan

After what happened, I figured the Overlord should pay for what he had done. The team agreed to avenge our fallen Leader. Together we sought to defeat the Overlord once and for all. Walking for what seemed to be days ahead of us. Catching food when needed and having spells for water.

"I know we're doing this for the better, but I think we should rest." Amelia suggested, I stopped walking, "I agree, my feet are killing me." We stopped and set up a camp. "Any food?" I asked as I searched my bag, Kaida pulled out some food from her bag, "Bread. That's all I have." I took the bread and split it in half. I gave half to her, "Save this half."

I split the half I had, in half, giving that half to the twins, "You two share, since you are the youngest, you need more, the rest of us will share this half." I used magic to evenly split the bread between the rest of us. "This is our meet up point. We will go and search for food and water, while someone stays with the twins."

I got up, "I will search for him. But I don't want to rush in without a plan. I will need Kaida, Amelia and Manny to help me with this. And the thief." I turned to face the thief that had been silently following us, no one knew he was there, I was just lucky enough to have the training for catching thieves. Can't believe he tried to steal my book of magic, I mean who does that?

"Hey! You told me you wouldn't tell anyone that I was here. Also sorry about your brother, it took me about 2 days to catch up to you." The thief looked at the rest of the group, "I can control fire, and it can come in handy." I looked at the twins, their focus was on the thief. "Well, let plan this out."

I pointed to Stella, "I want you to take the twins somewhere safe, and far from the overlord, if he comes here, but you will not follow us when we go and search for him." I looked at Typhoon, "You will be with me. Manny, where's the thief?" I looked around searching for him.

"I have no idea, I mean that thief surely must have gotten away. Not to worry friends I'll find him." I look behind me, to see the thief grabbing Kaida's hand, about to kiss her hand. "You are the thief!" I told him, he backed up, "Calm down, my name is Erik, I am no thief. Just here for the money." I squinted my eyes at him, "Keep your distance, she's taken." Kaida shot a look at me, "Will be mine, but is totally free." I put by hand behind my head, scratching my head.

"Why don't you trust me? I tagged along not so long ago." Erik asked me, I sat down, "Long story short. You are similar to me, only different. You steal for yourself." Erik sat down next to me, "You see, I steal if it's necessary, when I need food or money." He got a stick and started to draw on the dirt, "I am not liked in many places because when I was younger, I stole food, I needed it, now I find quests, get money, buy food, or steal food for those who need it." He threw the stick at me, "But I will also steal from you, you have some good stuff, but honestly, i'm going to help you for the money."

I smiled lightly, the money, huh. "Yeah, okay I'll pay good money for the help." I got up and stood in front of all of them, "Well, you remember the plan?" they all shook their heads in agreement, "So, can you explain to me who the Overlord is, because I don't know anything about him." Erik said as he laid back, playing with the fire, I shook my head, "Alright, time to learn, everyone pay attention.
