Boss Battle

"Oh but now you hold still. How about I show you something." He ran in front of me with incredible speed, putting his hand on my forehead, transmitting images into my head. All I could see was my family. Happily eating together, then the image changed and everyone was on the ground, dead, including Cayden.

I fell to my knees, as the Overlord was also making me feel pain. He turned to see the boy and the others come in to attack, pushing them back, with magic, he raised his army of undead soldiers. "Attack them all. Leave Aiden to me." They all started to attack my friends.

After the images disappeared, from the corner of my eye, I could see Kaida, taking down soldiers that got in her way. "Look at me! Don't worry about them, I'll take care of them. They will no longer be a problem." The Overlord had backed away from me. Giving me space. This gave me enough time to use a spell, "Dark magic: Eternal pain!" I ran to him as I punched his face, with the magic this caused a bigger effect than a normal punch.

Knocking him down to his knees, he slowly looked back at me, holding his jaw, "That hurt." He got back up, "Dark magic: Death by Fire!" He yelled as his hands were consumed by fire. And just like a dragon, he directed the fire towards me, I quickly formed a shield, blocking the fire which didn't seem to have an end. I have to think of something! "Water resort! Towering Wave!" My hands guided the huge wave from me to the Overlord, causing his fire to be put out.

I turned to see Kaida and the boy had made their way to the Overlord, the boy had a sword like Kaida, and began his attack. The Overlord created a sword of his own, fighting back. The moment he found an opening, Kaida came in and stopped him, both the boy and Kaida were moving swiftly, strategically.

The Overlord, with no option left, dropped his sword, and grabbed Kaida by her neck, choking her, and he reached to the boy's arm, getting a hold of him, and kicking him back. He took the sword, shattered it, and used a piece of it to stab Kaida. He threw her to the ground. I stood there, surprised.

"Kaida..." I spoke out to her, she lay there, with half a sword stuck in her. "You..." I looked towards the Overlord, "Will no longer..." I began to walk towards him as I did, a purple aura was surrounding me, "Hurt my friends and allies!" A lot of the aura went to my right arm as I went for a punch, immediately switching up my attack, I blasted the ground, causing the Overlord to take cover. As he did, I saw an opportunity, "You killed Cayden!" Dark Arts: Fire Explosion!

I hit him in the guts causing an explosion to happen with contact, launching him across from where I stood, "I'll kill you too!" The Overlord, seemed to counter the attack, and was holding the explosion, he pointed it in my direction, causing it to burst out near my face, throwing me back. "It's not so easy, fighting me." He spoke, but I could barely make out a word he said.

"I don't care." I ran towards him, but he kicked my stomach, stopping immediately. As soon as I hit the ground, I noticed there was blood on me. Is this my blood? I got up slowly, but was met with a punch to the face. The Overlord continued to punch me, left and right, without giving me a break.

His last blow was, he was using magic, "Green Mage: Stone Ambush!" He yelled, as he punched me, this was followed by a bunch of stones, hitting me until I fell to the ground. Slowly my eyes wanted to close but I was not going to give up. "How about I give you a choice." I looked over at him, trying to get up, "I can make this all go away, send you back to the beginning, from before I attacked, and I will not exist in this world."

I looked at the sky, "Or..." he laughed, "Or you'll regret not making that choice for the rest of your life." I looked at him again, "so what will it be?" I took a deep breath, "I want to start over."
