"So, I have no idea if any of you know, but your leader and co leader seem really close." Hugo said from behind me. "I ship them." Ship us? Why would he ship us and to where? "You would ship them?" Amelia asked Hugo. "Yes, they seem perfect for each other." I turned around, "Wait why would you ship us?" He looked at me confused, "Oh, that's right, when I say ship, I mean that I think you two would make a great couple." A couple, like boyfriend and girlfriend? "In other words, I think you should be her boyfriend."

"Hey guys, where are you going?" Kaida suddenly appeared, "Outside to show you where we have been." Hugo replied. "Hi Kaida, you look good today." I quickly looked away the minute I said that, "Well thank you, Aiden!" That was a good compliment if she liked it, right? "I agree, it certainly was!" Get out! "Why do you do that," I turned to face Stella, "Do what?" She is adapting to their language quickly, "Oh, you mean that, well honestly. Because I can do that, and I want to!" Kaida shot a look at me, "What does she mean?"

I pointed to Stella, "She is a wolf, I am sure Hugo will understand." He looked at me, then came to a realization, "Mind reader!" He looked at Stella and smiled, "Get used to it Aiden." he then took the lead and took us to a building nearby, "This is basically our watch tower." He then began to climb the building, and reached one of the floors. We followed him. "Oh wow, you can see almost everything from here." Stella was looking out the windows to see the whole place."

"Hey Aiden, come here." Kaida called me over, I went next to her, "see that lake, does it look familiar?" I searched around to see any important landmarks that I recognized, none. "Hey Hugo, what country are we in?" He looked at me, "The US." Oh that horrible place. "Well, no wonder everything is destroyed." I said as I kept looking around, "Aiden, you judge this country too harshly." Kaida said next to me, "Sorry." she pointed to the sky, "The clouds, the gray ones, are going away." I looked up, the sun was lighting up everything much more, as the clouds moved away. "Finally, I get to see the sunlight without any clouds in the way."

I jumped out of the building, "Hey wait, we are really high up." Hugo yeled from behind me, I looked back and saw Kaida had also jumped. I looked at the ground and it was getting close. "Dark arts, deathless land," I said as I put my hand out to touch the ground first. Once I was on the ground, it felt like I laid down on a bed. "Whoa, how is that possible?" Kaida asked me as she also landed safely. "It's a spell that allows people to land safely on the casting area." I moved my hand, a dark glow on my hand showed up. Keeping me from removing my hand, "What's this?" Amelia was next to me, "Death light."

The darkness went away, "What was that?" Kaida asked me, "I'm not sure. Probably nothing." I shrugged it off, This has Overlord written all over it. He knows. "You sure, it seemed like you were stuck." I looked at her and smiled a little, 'Yeah, it was just too powerful for me to handle." I looked at Amelia, and she knew to play along, "I can not believe you would try such a spell, even if you didn't train for it." I shrugged, "I like challenging myself." I looked at Kaida, "No need to worry." She hit the top of my head, "Idiot, what if it didn't work. We could have died!"
