"Welcome, to the Hero Association!" The young boy exclaimed as we entered some sort of safe camp. This is strange. They call themselves heroes, like I did with... "Why did you become heroes?" Kaida asked the boy. He looked off into the horizon, "This world, those who are left, I'm sure are worth saving." I'm not quite sure from who, but I will find out.

"Saving, from who are you saving them?" Kaida asked. I inspect the place, looking for any weapons. "From someone who calls himself the Overlord." The Overlord! He's here too! "Where are we?" I asked them, I don't get it. He found us? Already? "You guys, are in a city. I forgot its name."

I looked at the city, they don't even know. "Oh yeah, the new year is a couple of months away." A couple of months? "18..." I was interrupted by another guy. "2024, it's so close" Kaida looked at me, "yet so far away." It can't be. This is the... no way! If it's not 1800s then its past that. That's about 2 hundred years in the future. I became more surprised than ever. "Even if he survived, Cayden is not here right now."

Kaida and Amelia looked at me. "Aiden, please, don't do this again." He truly is gone. And his last attempt to save us was to send us to the future. "Well that explains my time machine's reaction and error." The first one spoke. He looked to be about my age. "My name is Finnis!" He sent someone to get a book.

"So I heard specific names. Can I ask for all your names?" I looked around. It's not possible to go to the future is it? "Kaida and Amelia there. Twins are Asher and Atticus," pointed towards Stella, "Stella and her brother Typhoon." I paused, the book arrived. "Thank you." He opened it, the cover facing me. "Stones." He read the title of the page. "Are the only way to kill the Overlord."

"You know the book?" He asked me. "After Cay..." No I can't say his name, "After I was told about the Overlord, I began to read this book." I pulled out a copy of the book he had. "Yours is newer, how?" I looked at the difference and his book was older. "I just got it, brand new. Like not too long ago." I looked around some more at the village. The people, in ragged clothing, with nothing left in life but themselves and their loved ones. I could feel the cold breeze of day fighting the heat of the sun, which was barely seen through the thick layer of clouds.
