The Overlord pt 2

I closed my eyes, Blue magic, illusions. The magic started to create images of the overlord, "The overlord, is a being capable of causing the world to bow to him. He will kill all who stand in his way, and the only ones who can kill him with ease are Stones, however anyone who isn't a stone will struggle." I saw Erik raising his hand, "So you can kill him easily?" I shook my head, "All stones know they are false stones, such as myself. I do not claim being a stone, I claim I am Aiden Stone. Any Stone with Magic is not a real stone, They are false stones."

"So what does this have to do with the overlord." Erik asked me, I looked at the illusions, "Reveal." the illusions began to form people, "Amelia, can you translate?" She got up, and looked at the illusions. "Says here, the Overlord was once engaged to a princess. The youngest of Keiji Stones children." Erik made the fire go away, "That guy is old. Probably a couple ten thousand years old." Amelia looked at me then back at the illusions, like she just found out something she shouldn't have, "She broke the engagement, after she found out he was the son of the Dragon Ruler." they were all confused.

"He was the one responsible for having dragons attack humans, did this until Keiji Stone fought him. Taking everything away from him." I looked at the illusions, one said his youngest daughter, made some portal and traveled through it, and was never seen again. The overlord went into hiding, and put himself in a deep sleep, and would not wake up until she was found. "He made a deal with the dragon of Darkness, and was cursed for life, to withhold the strongest power known to magic, dark magic. But, only a Stone, who knew dark magic from heart, could kill him with ease. He woke up on his own, and saw a kid named Cayden stone."

I looked at the illusions closely, "He noticed he was a stone, and chased him, trying to kill him. Killing all stones would mean he would be able to rule the world. But he missed two of them. Cayden and Aiden." Amelia sat down looking at me, "He will every single stone, marry Keila Stone, become king, and kill her for running away from him. At Least that's what he told her he would do." Keila Stone, but she's been gone for years. No one has seen her since she disappeared. Her family even tried looking for her.

"Wait, the Overlord is human?" Asher asked, he looked at me and then towards Amelia, "He doesn't look human, he looks like a shadow, with purple eyes" Atticus added on to his brother's question. I looked at Amelia, What does it say? Amelia looked at the illusions, "I'll be right back." She opened the portal to the magic realm, "Aiden do you want to come with me?" I have always wanted to go into that world, to see it. "Maybe next time." She went into the portal.

"Okay, so she will be back at a random time, so while we wait, any questions about the plan?" No one had a question, well, time to do the usual. "Alright. Let's take care of questions that are not related to this topic first." Everyone's face was lit with smiles. I looked at Kaida, "you want to go first?" She was sort of smiling.

She had us all sit down. She was left standing, "Aiden. Who is Amelia? Why is she so important? And how come you talk to her like she is different then the rest of us?" She brings up a good point. It may have seemed real, but it was all a bunch of visions. I explained there. But maybe that's not the truth. "It's better if she explains that herself."

Kaida sat back down. And I stood up, looking at the rest of the group, "Well? Anyone else?" Erik raised his hand, "I have a good question. Two actually. One, what is this magic world? And two, are you Kaida's boyfriend?" As soon as he asked his second question I looked at Kaida who was also looking at me, but turned away when I looked at her. She is not. Without looking at me, Kaida said "No, I am single."

I looked at Erik, and sighed, "The magic world. It's a place where most magic originates from. Magic from people like the Stones. Though not all stones have the same magic. Some get it from the big three. While others, like myself, get it from that world. It is the home of dragons, and doesn't seem to run time the same as here." Erik sat back down, and Amelia came back, "Hey there Aiden. You waited for me? That's so sweet of you. Haven't seen you wait for me like ever."

I look at Amelia, "No, now is not the time." She smiles and kisses me on the cheek, "Sure, I'll give you some space." She walked by me to the center of everyone. "Oh! I found out why he doesn't look normal. He is cursed. This curse has different effects on different people, but it's the curse of eternal pain, for eternal power. To give himself the power of a Stone, he will suffer pain, not being able to die or find happiness."
