"So, why don't you make a move." He said calmly. He doesn't take me as a threat! "You will fear me!" I yelled at him, his expression changed, "Well that's interesting. I like the way you think." He chuckled, "Keep thinking that way and you'll definitely have me scared." The other couldn't move, they were stuck. I ran to hit the Overlord.
"Not so fast." He dodged my attack and kicked me in the stomach. Throwing me off my balance. He stood me up, and hit me really hard in the stomach, sending me across to another building. I grunted as I got up, "I..." I puked out some blood. "I will not..." I stood up again, he is powerful! My legs were shaking, and my body was filled with fear, "lose." He brought me over to him using teleportation, and once again struck me in the stomach.
"Allow me to use a familiar move." He picked me up, and he took out the weapon that pierced Cade. "A happy reunion, if I don't say so myself." Slowly he started stabbing me with it. I couldn't feel it. I felt nothing. The pain, it's all gone. "Huh," I laughed a little. "So this is what death feels like..." my voice gave up on me, and slowly my eyes wanted to do the same. "Ah, yes you're nearly dead. Not so fast. Don't die. The party just started." I slowly closed my eyes, "Aiden! Stay awake! Please, keep fighting for all of us!" Kaida...
Kaida?
Kaida! I opened my eyes, "No!" I yelled, "I can't die here!" I looked over at Kaida, who had been using her crest. She got out, and was able to start moving again. I'll cover for you! "Stop messing around!" I yelled at the Overlord. He smiled and lazily looked over at me, "This is boring, even if I used my fullest, you'd die." He then yawned. "Get stronger. Then I'll fight you. Until one of us dies." He smirked before he left.
I collapse to the ground. I can't move anymore. My strength is fading quickly. Kaida ran towards me, "Aiden, you'll be fine. Trust me!" She said as she held me in her arms. "I-I guess I will." I slowly said. Soon closing my eyes. "Until next time, Kaida." I said. My heart, I could feel it slowing down. The amount of blood I lost was affecting my performance. "No, you will be fine." She said as she held me tightly, "To face him and end him." My eyes completely closed, I could no longer hear anything. Is this really the end? Am I going to see my family?
"Aiden?" I heard a voice. One I didn't recognize, yet remembered. "Who are you?" I asked, as I opened my eyes, "This is not right. You're here too early, my son." Mom? "M-mom?" She smiled, "In the flesh, I suppose." She laughed, "get it." I laughed a little, "Yeah." She hugged me, "I get to see you like this. All grown up. I'm so proud of you!" She kept hugging me. I hugged her back, "I missed you." I said, I truly am...
"Well, well, well. Look what the earth has given us. An Aiden." Cade! Turned to see him, "It really is you!" I went over to hug him. "Why am I seeing you guys?" I asked, "Oh, I can answer that. I wanted to see my son. And hug him!" My mom replied, "But I think someone wants the same back there," she pointed behind me. I turned around, and from the distant I could hear her voice, "Aiden, please, just hold on a little longer."
