Two-Bits POV

Leaves started rustling as they flew down the street. The poking sound echoed through the house as branches hit the window. It was the perfect time to head out. No one was awake.

I grabbed my jacket, a case of beer, and my switch. When I left the Curtis household I saw on the steps and had a quick smoke.

Today was when the plan was going into action. I'm the first to start. Zay, Dal, and Johnny should be in a couple hours, then Darry and Soda will start. Steve is kinda useless, he is just a standby.

I get up and throw the cigarette on the concrete, stomping on it as I made my way towards the gate.

First, I need to talk to Curly and Tim. Afterwards I was going to break the rules a little bit. If Curly and Tim don't have any info I will hunt down Bob and Randy. If I give them beer maybe they will cooperate.

It's currently six in the morning, so if I know their schedule well enough they should be passed out at Buck's. Tim has been really involed with other greaser gangs recently, so he should know someone.

After passing by countless flickering streetlights and dead trees, I found myself standing in front of Buck's. I walked up to the door and it was quiet inside. I knocked loudly and heard an angry grumble inside.

Not too long after a drowsy Buck opened the door.

"The fuck do you want Keith." Buck grumbled.

"Are Tim and Curly here?" I asked as I opened a case of beer and held it out to him. He grabbed the beer and opened it, taking a huge chug of it before responding.

"No, but Dally is upstairs. I suggest hurryin though because he is only stopping by." Buck said as he moved to the side so there was room for me to enter.

I grabbed the case of beer and made my way towards the stairs. I reached Dally's room and knocked. Dally quickly opened the door.

"Hey man what do you want?" Dal asked.

"Do you know where Curly and Tim are?" I asked as I passed a beer to him. He grabbed the beer and put it on his dresser.

"They are hanging out in the junkyard. If they aren't there then they should be in the lot. Is that all because I gotta go find Johnny." Dally replied as he pulled a cigarette out of his pocket.

"Ya. Good luck Dal." I said as I turned away and made my way down the stairs. I waved at Buck as I left the building and started to head towards the junkyard.

Recently that has been Tim's hangout, we don't know what's so special about it though.

Before I reached the junkyard I noticed Tim and Curly leaving.

"Tim! Curly!" I yelled at them. They both looked over at me in unison and started walking towards me.

When we met up I passed them both a beer.

"So have there been any new greasers? Any new greaser gangs?" I asked them as they popped their beers open.

"Ya. There is a new crew that kicked us out of our hangout. Why what's up?" Curly asked with curiosity in his voice.

"Pony has been in deep shit. He has been ditching school, staying out late, coming home beat up even though Socs have been quiet." I explained. Saying this caused Tim to whip his head up at me. His eyes were filled with worry and fear.

"Kevin Alterwood." Curly mumbled.

Hearing that name made my blood run cold. Kevin is Zayla's old childhood friend. He randomly changed at one point and started causing hell for everyone. Kevin started to resent her, and threatened to kill her or her siblings. One day he was sent to Texas and we never heard from him again.
