"Why are you single?" Tobias asked suddenly as they sat in the booth eating their food. They just received their food from their server, Bryan. Tobias ordered steak and mashed potatoes while Trinity got shrimp and steak with mashed potatoes.

"What" Trinity asked bewildered as she looked at Tobias who shrugged eating his mashed potatoes.

"I mean I don't know officially if you are single but you don't seem like you are with someone so I just want to know why is that" Tobias explained before taking a sip of his drink which was a water.

"I don't know. I guess I am just not what every man looks for" Trinity shrugged eating her shrimp.

"Plus I don't want a man in my life right now. I'm stressed with school and just getting use to being in this state so I just want to focus on myself right now" She added as she leaned back in the booth staring intently at Tobias.

"But what if you wanted a man to just relieve that stress" Tobias asked casually as he continued drinking his water.

"I might want it but I don't need a man to relieve my stress, I can do that myself." Trinity responded softly as she raised her eyebrow. Tobias smiled and nodded before going back to his food.

"How about you?" Trinity said making Tobias looked at her confusingly.

"Why are you single" she added and Tobias frowned looking down at his food before he sat back.

"Because I just want to focus on raising my babygirl and finishing college in these next few months" He answered and Trinity stared at him before shaking her head.

"I don't fully believe that's the whole reason" she mumbled to him making Tobias smile. He looked away before looking back at Trinity and sighed.

"Brielle's mother really changed me a lot and I don't want to get in another relationship just to have the same result." He said as he rubbed his hands together. Trinity smiled slightly and nodded.

"I get that I mean relationships can suck especially sometimes if it involves a child and co parenting" Trinity said as she swirled her straw around in her drink.

"And I can say that I'm surprised by what has happened between me and Brielle's mother but I'm really not. If anything I saw all of this coming especially her actions" Tobias said staring at the table with a hard look in his eye.

"Woman always show you signs on who you are but you have just pick up on them" Trinity mumbled softly and Tobias looked over at her, nodding his head.

"Men too though" He added to which Trinity nodded. She finished her food and wiped her hands with a napkin before leaning back in her seat.

"I don't think I can sit through a movie without falling asleep" Trinity said as she smiled. Tobias finished the last of his food and drank his water before looking at Trinity.

"What" Trinity laughed nervously as she blushed looking away from Tobias.

"You are really beautiful do you know that?" Tobias said in a soft deep voice as he looked at her. Trinity smiled and looked down at her hands as she played with them nervously.

"Thank you" she mumbled softly as she looked back into Tobias's eyes. He smiled softly and licked his tongue over his bottom lip slowly.

"I really want to kiss you right now" Tobias mumbled making Trinity smile.

"Then why don't you" Trinity's soft voice mumbled making Tobias smirk.

He leaned in holding the back of Trinity's neck in his rough pale hand. He glanced down at her lips before looking back into her eyes as he moved closer to her.

Trinity's breath hitched as Tobias neared her lips before capturing her lips with his. Trinity's eyes immediately closed as she melted into the kiss.

Tobias' hand let go of the back of her neck and placed her hand on her thigh, giving it a small squeeze. Trinity leaned into Tobias more as she kissed him back.

Before they knew it, they needed air and had to pull away making Trinity sigh softly and lick her lips. She kept eyes closed for a second to remember what just happened before she opened them to see Tobias already looking at her.

"Wow"

"That really happened" they both said at the same time making Trinity smile. Tobias shook his head as he smiled.

"And I won't be mad if it happened again and again" Tobias said making Trinity laugh and blush.

"Shut up" Trinity said as she sipped her lemonade drink. Leaning back in the booth, Trinity zoned out as she stared at the table with a smile on her face.

Her lips still tingled with the taste of Tobias' lips against hers. She wanted to reach up and touch her lips to make sure that she wasn't dreaming but she chose against it.

Trinity looked up at Tobias who was frowning down at his phone. He seem to be checking something before he sighed and put his phone down.

Face up.

"You ready to go?" Tobias asked her as he turned his head to look at her. She nodded and Tobias stood up out of the booth. He took her hand and helped up before he looked around for their server Bryan.

"Check?" Bryan asked him as she walked up. Tobias nodded and she left quickly to get it.

"I don't think I want to take you home yet" Tobias said looking down at Trinity who looked up at him.

"Where will we be going then?" She asked and he smiled and shrugged his shoulders.

"Let's just take a drive" He said softly before paying the server and leading Trinity out of the restaurant.
