"Mommy Travis broke up with me" Brielle said to Trinity who immediately looked down at the little girl in concern.

She had just picked Brielle up from daycare because Tobias had to head into work. Trinity didn't mind getting her since she just got out of school.

"I'm sorry baby" Trinity said as they walked to the car.

"It's fine. His brother is cuter" Brielle said before getting in the car. Trinity's jaw dropped at her words before she shook her head.

"Don't let your father caught you saying that."

When they got back to Tobias' place a hour later, Trinity went to start making some dinner. The reason they got back so late is because Trinity had to stop at her place to get more clothes seeing how she's always at Tobias' place now.

It's been a few months since Trinity and Tobias officially made things official. It will be five months tomorrow as well as Tobias' birthday. He told her he didn't want to do anything for his birthday but Trinity still planned something small.

"Daddy's birthday is tomorrow. Are you excited?" Trinity asked Brielle as she flipped the steak.

"Daddy is getting old now"

Trinity let out a small laugh and nodded her head. "Yes he is. Tomorrow we are going to give him the best birthday ever"

"Yay!" Brielle said excitedly and clapped her hands as she smiled big.

Trinity smiled and finished up cooking. "Your birthday is next month are you excited?"

"Yes Yes!"

"What do you want for your birthday baby girl?"

"I want my momma to come see me" Brielle said in a sad voice making Trinity stop and turn to look at her.

Oh shit Trinity thought.

Brielle was staring up at her with her big beautiful eyes with a small frown on her adorable face. "Does she love me anymore" Trinity watched as the little girl began to tear up and cry.

Trinity immediately crouched down and wiped her eyes softly. "Your mom loves you very much Brielle. There is no doubt about it. I promise you"

"Why doesn't she come see me"

Trinity sighed lightly and sent her a small smile. "Sometimes people stay away to protect you rather than hurt you. Your mom is trying to get better for you baby girl and she has to do that before she comes to see you. You don't want to see momma hurt right?"

Brielle shook her head no.

"Exactly so she needs to get better first so she can be your beautiful and powerful momma again." Trinity paused and gave Brielle a big hug. "So she can wrap you in her arms like this again"

Brielle smiled.

"So she can kiss all over your face like this" Trinity says and places kisses all over her face causing the little girl to giggle and laugh.

Trinity grinned and picked Brielle up. "How about we cook dinner together?" She suggests making Brielle nod her head.

A hour later, the meal was finished and Trinity set up the table just as Tobias walked in the door. "Hey" he said walking over to his girlfriend who smiled at him and gave him a small kiss.

"Mm how was your day baby" Trinity asked him making him shake his head with a sigh.

"A day"

Trinity rubbed his arm and Brielle came in with a drawing in her hands. "Daddy!" She ran to her father who immediately smiled and picked her up in his arms.

"Hi baby girl" he says kissing her cheek softly.

"Daddy we made food" Brielle said pointing to the food on the table.

"It looks amazing baby. I bet it's delicious" he said looking down at the steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus with garlic bread.

"It looks really good" Tobias repeated and looked at Trinity who was watching the pair with a soft smile on her face.

"What's the occasion" he asks with a slight fear that he might have forgot something important.

Trinity shook her head and shrugged her shoulders lightly. "I just felt like making something different tonight." She says and kisses his cheek before smiling brightly at Brielle who played with the buttons of her father's shirt.

"Come on let's eat" She then says and Tobias puts Brielle down, telling her to go wash her hands while he went to the sink to wash his.

Trinity waited until Brielle ran down the hallway to the bathroom before she turned to Tobias. "I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she told me she wants her mom to come see her" she tells him.

Tobias froze at her words.

Trinity bit her lip nervously and put her hand on Tobias' arm making him snap out of his small daze. "Tobias?"

"Sorry um" he sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Of course she wants to see her I mean that's her mother."

Trinity remained silent.

Tobias opened his mouth to speak but the excited footsteps of his daughter made him go quiet. "I washed them daddy!" Brielle Mae said as she enters the kitchen.

"Yes you did. I'm proud of you baby." Tobias gave her a grin and made her a plate of food before setting it in front of her at the table.

"Say your prayers baby" Trinity said making Brielle put her hands together and bow her head to say them.

Tobias waited until Brielle began eating before he turned and walked out of the kitchen. Trinity looked at Brielle to make sure she was okay before hurrying after her boyfriend.

"Tobias" she called after him.

Entering the bedroom, she found her boyfriend taking his shirt off and walking to his closet. "I begged Olivia to come see Brielle multiple times since she has been in my care Trinity. I'm not doing it anymore. I'm done wishing for that woman to get well and see her daughter"

"Tobias"

"I'm sick of this shit Trinity" Tobias grew angry and gritted his teeth at an attempt of calming himself down.

"Tobias" Trinity walked closer to him.

"How many more days do I have to do this go through this shit? That little girl deserves her parents that actually show that they give a damn about her. Olivia is suppose to be give a damn" Tobias leaned down against the wall next to his dresser and put his head in his hands in frustration.

"Tobias" Trinity crouched down in front of her boyfriend and pulled his hands from his face. He looked at her with broken eyes and she sent a sad smile.

"I know it's hard right now and I know you want to give up but—" Tobias shook his head, opening his mouth to cut her but Trinity shushed him.

"You aren't in this alone I promise you. I'm here okay? I know I can never take a place of her mother but I'm here for that little girl and I'm here for you"

Trinity took his face in her hands and pecked his lips softly. "I love you Tobias Reed and no matter what I'm going to always be here"

Tobias smiled and wrapped his arm around her body before pulling her into his lap. "You are amazing do you know that?"

Trinity shrugged her shoulders before letting out a laugh to which Tobias could only grin at.

He laid his head on her shoulder making her tangle her fingers in his hair. "When we have a baby—"

SAY WHAT Trinity screamed in her head as she froze at his words.
