It was days later when Trinity received a call from her mother asking if she could come by the house to sit down with her sister and talk things out.Trinity said no.
But Tobias changed her mind by talking to her about how her sister is right in terms of her not knowing Tobias. She had the right to be mad that Trinity had Tobias, a guy she barely knows, around little Chris.
She just shouldn't have went about it in an anger infused way.
So Trinity sat across from her sister who was holding Chris in her arms. She has been here about ten minutes and Sola hasn't made one attempt to speak toward her.
"I'm leaving" Trinity announced as soon as the minute timer in her head went off.
She stood up with her light tan Kate spade purse in he hands. Her braided hair was wrapped into a bun and her fingers were decorated in beautiful rings.
Her mother then walked out from her place in the kitchen and turned to Trinity quickly. "No, stay please." She then turned to her other daughter. "If you don't open your mouth, you better."
Solaria looked at Trinity who didn't bother sending her a glance back. "I'm sorry for how I acted the other day."
Trinity didn't reply.
"I didn't snap like that. I just didn't appreciate you having some random dude around my son."
Trinity then turned to finally look at her. "I understand that and I apologize for doing something like that. I should have at least asked you or had you meet Tobias beforehand."
she took a pause.
"But the way you acted is the exact reason why I don't like being around you Solaria. You always feel the need to go big about something that easily can be handled in a better way." She then said and shook her head.
Solaria was quiet.
"I love you. I mean you my sister so I can't do nothing but love you but I'm not going to go through the same bullshit I had to go through when we were kids." Trinity's phone then dinged with a message causing her focus to drift down to her cellular device.
She smiled as she saw a text from Tobias asking how everything was going.
She didn't reply as she turned to back to her sister who was looking down at Chris as he played with one of her necklaces.
"You need to grow up Solaria and you need to grow up fast. You have a whole child but acting like you're one as well." And with that Trinity turned to leave the room so she could go home.
Her mother followed her out the house and to her car. "Bye baby I love you dear" She said hugging Trinity who hugged her back with a smile.
"Bye momma" and with that Trinity left.

Brielle Mae ran around the living room making whooshing noises as she pretended to fly. Tobias sat on his dark grey couch, watching his baby girl with a big smile on his face.
"Coming" He then said as a sharp knock was sounded on his front door. He stood up and headed toward the door only to open it and find Olivia standing before him.
God just keeps testing me Tobias thought as he sighed.
"What do you want Olivia?" He asked her harshly. She stood in front of him dressed in a dirty blue tank top and used to be white shorts. Her hair was messy and dirty making Tobias frown deeply.
"Um" her voice was shaky and she kept looking around her. "Can I-I have s-something to eat?" She stuttered out when her focus went back on him.
"What?"
She cleared her dry throat and repeated the question for him. Tobias wasn't expecting that question and only shook his head yes before moving to the side so she could step inside.
"Mommy!" Brie yelled as she saw the figure of her mother. She ran up to her and Olivia smiled brightly as she bent down to hug her daughter.
"Mommy you smell weird" Brielle said after pulling away from the hug. She frowned and looked up at her mother who had small tears in her eyes. "I know sweetie im sorry"
"Daddy mommy needs a shower" Brielle Mae said turning to her father who was fixing something up in the kitchen for Olivia.
"Why don't you lead her to the bathroom in Daddy's room so she can take a shower hm?" Tobias said as he turned to his daughter who smiled brightly.
"Okay!" Brielle then took Olivia's hand and pulled her out of the kitchen and down the hallway.
Minutes later, Tobias set a plate of chicken Alfredo and asparagus on the counter, hot and ready. It was only ten minutes later when Brielle ran into the kitchen saying Daddy repeatedly.
"Yes baby"
"Mommy needs clothes" she said and Tobias nodded his head. He followed his daughter to his room where a confused and shy Olivia stood in a towel, in the middle of the room.
"Here" he said and handed her his smallest pair of pants and a random old t shirt he had in his closet. She thanked him and left for the bathroom to get dressed.
"Daddy" Brielle called out to Tobias who turned to her. "Is mommy okay?" She asked in a soft voice.
"What do you mean baby?"
"She looks scared." Brielle's eyes never left the closed bathroom door as she frowned deeply.
Tobias looked over at the bathroom door just as Olivia walked out, dressed in the clothes. She managed to pin her hair up in a messy ponytail and had to tie the shirt some since it was still big on her.
"Thank you for letting me shower and giving me clothes" Olivia said and Tobias noticed how she was talking in a small voice as if she was a mouse talking to a lion.
"Of course" he lead her out the room and back in to the kitchen where her plate laid. She immediately sat down and quickly devoured the plate in the matter of minutes.
"Olivia what's going on with you" Tobias asked her immediately when she finished her food. She looked away from his staring eyes and played with her fingers nervously.
"I tried to get clean but not everyone was happy with that idea." She sighed and took a small pause. "I was kicked out of my place and been on the streets for a few weeks now"
"Last night um this man found me in an alley and tried to" Tobias took in a big breath as he knew where this was going. "He tried to take advantage of me but I got out of his grip and ran away only to find myself here."
"Olivia" Tobias said and made her look at him. "When you called me, begging to see Brielle where you on the streets then?"
Olivia nodded her head. "I kicked out the night before. I didn't want to tell you that I was on the streets because I didn't want that to have you pitying me into letting me see her."
Tobias shook his head at that and turned to look Brie who was playing in the living room with her teddy bear; that Olivia brought her the night before she disappeared from their family.
"Listen we may not be the best of friends right now but seriously if you need help then don't hesitate to ask okay?" He said quickly when he looked back at Olivia who nodded.
"You need to go to rehab" He then said making Olivia's breath hitch. She then nodded her head once more and agreed with him.
"I know"
"I will drop you off at one"
She looked at him and sighed. She then mumbled a small "okay" while he took her empty plate to pour her some more food to eat.
