The 22nd of September 2020(This is a short one)

Harry's POV

My knee bounces up and down as I wait for Emma to tell me everything is all clear. The paps had the nerve to show up at her school even though it's been established that she wants to live a regular life. She doesn't want to be in the tabloids and yet I know that no matter how hard my new manager tries, she'll somehow be in at least one. Can't they just leave people alone? I mean yeah, it's their job but they get excessive at times.

I jump when I hear my phone ring. I fumble with it before pressing the answer button.

"Hey," she breathes through the phone.

"Is everything okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, yeah we just left. He's driving around a bit before we actually go to the house though. That's what you're supposed to do right?" she assures me.

"Yes, that's exactly what you're supposed to do. Mindlessly drive until you lose anyone on your tail. Now, how are you doing?" I turn over to her.

"Um... I cried more and couldn't make it to the nurse's office alone. Kyle had to carry me there. I think I'm doing okay, but I'm just going to go home to sleep," she admits. I take in her tone and contemplate before responding.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask wearily.

"Yeah, I guess. I mean there's not much to say. Paps showed up at my school, I had a panic attack. I don't understand why they felt the need to find my school and show up. I mean yeah, it's a big thing, but I just want to be left alone, ya know?" she tangents. I nod along even though she can't see me. I agree, they shouldn't have found where she's from or what school she goes to. I'm the one in the spotlight, not her. They should really leave her alone.

"Yeah, I know. I'm really sorry about this, I should've asked before saying what I said. Now paps are gonna be everywhere," I apologize.

"I'm not mad Haz. I'm far from it, I understand why you did it. There's no need to apologize," she assures me.

"You sure?"

"I'm positive, I promise," she reassures me. She says that she has to go so she can work on her school work, so I let her go and we say our goodbyes.

I set my phone beside me before picking it up again. I know I shouldn't be doing this, but my curiosity is getting the nest of me. I quickly search up myself and my screen is instantly filled up with articles. I scroll until I see the headline, Harry Styles Has A Secret Little Sister? I mean she's not a secret, but I see where they're coming from. I mean how else would it look. After years of being in the spotlight, the public is only just now hearing about her. I know they won't know the full story, so I mean secret is better than them publishing the real thing.

I read through the article, I'm not surprised to see that it's fairly short. I mean they don't have much information, so they're not going to say much. It's an overall positive article, it just ends in "what other secrets could he be keeping" which was totally uncalled for, but hey, it's the tabloids, they have to make it interesting and dramatic.

I hear footsteps coming up from behind me. "Hi luv," I speak up.

"Hey I was going to scare you!" he pouts, drawing out the first word. I turn around so I can see his all too familiar pout. He looks like a tiny hedgehog every time he pouts.

"Aw I'm sorry babe, you just weren't quiet," I apologize while making grabby hands towards him. Don't judge me. He walks over to me and sits on my lap, kissing me softly. "Ya know, this is better than scaring me," I tell him. He shakes his head and faux ponders.
