Chapter 10: Beginning of the Sports Festival

Asta woke up in a hospital bed next to Yuno, Aizawa, and Yami. "Hey kid your up" Aizawa said with bandages around his face and arm. "Dad! Where is everyone?" Asta asked. "The four of us are in the hospital. Some of the students are in the waiting room" Aizawa answered pointing to the door. Asta nodded and walked outside. When he went to the waiting room, he saw Noelle, Mimosa, Midoriya, Kirishima, Shoto, and Iida all resting.

Noelle opened her eyes and saw Asta, bandaged up from the stomach to chest. "A-Asta" Noelle said tearing up a bit. She ran over and hugged him. "A-Asta, I thought you got seriously hurt" Noelle cried into Asta's chest. "I feel great Noelle" Asta said smiling. "I'm even more proud of you. You actually used your quirk" Asta said getting up close to Noelle. Noelle blushed heavily by how close he was. "B-BAKA!!" Noelle slapped Asta away while blushing. "Ow. Why did I get hit?" Asta questioned rubbing his cheek.

"Asta-Bro, how do you feel?" Kirishima asked helping Asta up. "I feel great. I feel like I could run a marathon" Asta said dropping down to his knees and doing pushups. "A-Asta, you should slow down. Y-You're still injured" Midoriya said concerned. "I'll be oka-" Asta said before he felt a sharp pain on his side. He looked at his bandage and saw a blood spot. "Reckless kid" a voice snapped. Everyone turned to the voice and saw Aizawa standing at the doorway. "You were out for 5 minutes and you already hurt yourself" Aizawa said slapping Asta across the head. "Ow Dad" Asta said rubbing his head. "Well all of you should head home. We will all be fine" Aizawa announced to the class. "Okay, let's go everyone" Kirishima said walking to the door. "Alright. Hey Asta" Mimosa blurted. "Yes?". "Tell Yuno I said get better" Mimosa requested. "Of course" Asta smiled. "B-Bye Dorksta" Noelle said blushing. "Bye Noelle. Once I feel better, we'll train together" Asta exclaimed. Once she heard that, she tensed up and blushed.

*one weeks later*

"Hello Class" Aizawa and Yami greeted. "Hello Aizawa and Yami Sensei" The class said. "Now this upcoming week we will have something very important. We will be hosting the Sports Festival" Aizawa stated. "Should we be holding a big event right after we had a villian attack" Yaoyarozu questioned. "The Sports Festival is the most viewed event in Japan. We will not cancel it due to some villains. And the Sports Festival will have max security" Yami explained. The whole class nodded and then looked back to Aizawa. "At the Festival, you will be showing off your quirk in front of many pro heros. And depending on your performance, certain heros will take you on in a internship" Aizawa explained to the class. "And finally, you will also have one week to train and prepare your quirk for the Festival" Aizawa finished.

*time skip to the Sports Festival*

"ARE YOU READY!!!!" Present Mic yelled. "ARE YOU READY FOR THE U.A SPORTS FESTIVAL!!!" Present Mic yelled to the crowd.

*timeskip to the race*

"GET READY....SET....GO!!!" Present Mic announced. Todoroki blasted off making a ice wall to block the other students. Asta sliced through the ice and Yuno flew over it. Yuno was in the lead since he was able to fly but he saw Asta under him running a little bit behind. "I'm not going to let you win Yuno!!" Asta yelled running faster. Yuno looked down and saw robots under him.

Asta was trying to keep up with Yuno while running. But when he was running a crowd of robots were in front of him. He summoned both swords and slashed through a couple. Asta looked down at his sword and thought about something. 'Maybe I could use my sword to levitate?" Asta thought looking up to Yuno. 'I have to try it!!'. Asta hopped onto his Demon Slayer Sword. As he jumped on his sword, he started to float. "IT WORKED!!" Asta shouted flying on his sword. He flew up to Yuno and started showing off. "Look Yuno, you're not the only one who can fly" Asta stated on his sword. Yuno glared at Asta and speeded up. "I'm got going to lose to you!!" Asta shouted keeping up with Yuno.

"IN THE LEAD ARE YUNO AND ASTA AIZAWA. IN SECOND AND THIRD ARE KATSUKI BAKUGOU AND SHOTO TODOROKI!!" Present Mic yelled to the crowd.

"I'm not going to let that sword boy and emo boy beat me!!!" Bakugou yelled using his explosives to go faster.

Asta and Yuno were neck and neck but beneath them was Bakugou and Todoroki slowly catching up. Yuno made a air orb that temporarily stopped every. Asta was able to slash through the orb and continue in the race. Asta threw his sword at Yuno, knocking him off balance. With that opportunity, Asta speeded off towards the finish line.

Yuno recovered and flew towards Asta. Yuno blasted at Asta multiple times to knock him down. But when the attacks hit Asta, they didn't affect him. He looked close at Asta and saw red and black energy surrounding Asta. 'Damn it. Since he is on his anti-quirk sword, he is surrounded by anti-quirk energy' Yuno thought trying to catch up.

Yuno was slowly catching up to Asta, when they both heard a explosion and saw Midoriya in the air. "Sorry Midoriya, but I have to win" Yuno said creating a wind wall to stop Midoriya. Yuno looked back at the race and saw that him and Asta were getting close to the finish line. "I'm going to win Yuno!!!" Asta shouted speeding up. "No, I am!!" Yuno responded. They both dashed through the line at the same time. They looked at Midnight to show the slow motion camera. When it showed, it showed that Asta had barely beaten Yuno by holding his Demon Dweller Sword out. "Ha I won Yuno!!" Asta celebrated. Yuno was fuming with rage after losing to his brother once again. "Don't worry Asta, I'll beat you in the next event" Yuno claimed staring at Asta.
