Chapter 47: A New Family Member

A few weeks have past after Nighteye's funeral. Asta and Midoriya would often visit Eri in the hospital to check up on her. Aizawa had convinced the doctors to let Eri out to go see the students.

Asta was waiting for the text from his dad letting him know he and Eri are outside. Asta got the text and told the class to follow him. The class left their dorm room and ran outside to go meet Eri.

"Hi Eri!" The class greeted. But she just hid behind Aizawa's leg. Asta and Midoriya walked up to her and got down on their knees. "Hey Eri, these are our classmates. They are nice" Midoriya said smiling. Eri slowly crept out behind Aizawa's leg and walked to the class.

"H-Hi I'm Eri". The class each greeted Eri. "Hey I'm Mineta, I can't wait to see what you look like in 10 years" Mineta greeted. Asta summoned his sword and slapped it across Mineta's head.

Asta took Eri's hand and took her inside the class room. "Hey kids, I have some paper work to fill out so you guys are responsible for her" Aizawa said waving goodbye. "This is our classroom Eri" Ashido said showing off their class. "You know when you grow up, you could be in this class aswell" Asta said to Eri. She laughed a bit and then they continued to go around the school.

"Let's go to the dorms and show her where we stay" the girls suggested. They all agreed and walked to their dorm rooms. They showed Eri around the dorms and showed her their rooms. The girls decided to take Eri to the girl's section to do her hair.

Asta walked back to the living room and started to play games against the other boys. After a few games, the boys start to get bored and decide to go to a fair nearby. The girls came down from their dorm and showed off Eri's hair. "Eri your hair looks very pretty" all the boys besides Bakugou said. She smiled feeling the love everyone was giving her. The boys discussed how there was a fair nearby and they should all go. The girls agreed and went back upstairs to get ready.

Once everyone was ready, they all walked to the fair. They each went in groups of 2 except for Asta and Noelle who took Eri with them. "What do you want to do first Eri?" Asta and Noelle asked. "Uhh I-I don't know. I've never been to a fair" Eri said. "Well let's look around and see if you like anything" Asta said pulling her and Noelle along.

They walked around for a bit and Eri saw a water shooting game that she wanted to play. They walked up to the game and sat down. "One game please" Asta said while handing the man the money. The water began to shoot and Eri was missing. "Here let me help you" Noelle whispered to Eri. She started using her quirk to make the water hit the target. The bell rang and the man yelled, "we have a winner!!". Eri smiled and hugged Noelle for helping her win. Eri decided to get a teddy bear as her prize. "Thank you Noelle for helping me win the teddy bear" she smiled. "Your welcome Eri" Noelle said  patting Eri's head.

They continued to walk around for a bit and Eri saw something that made her face brighten up. Asta noticed her face and asked her what she was looking at. She pointed to a food stand that had candy apples. "You like candy apples?" Asta asked. "Mhmm". "Ok let's go get some" Asta said pulling the girls along. "Can we get 3 candy apples please?" Asta asked the lady running the stand. She nodded and handed them the candy apples. Asta handed the lady the money and thanked her. Asta and Noelle smiled as they saw Eri's face glow when she ate the candy apple. "Yum" Eri said taking another bite.

They walked around for a bit and decided to go on a ride. They used their wristbands they bought to get in and took their seats on the ride. Asta saw Eri and she seemed a bit scared and nervous. "It's okay Eri, aslong as you have your seat belt on, you'll be safe" Asta smiled. She nodded her head and buckled her seatbelt. They waited for the conductor to start to ride. The conductor started the ride and they started to spin a around. Eri got scared a bit but then got happy as it got faster.

Once the ride was done, Eri was going on about how it was so fun and how she wanted to go on another ride. Asta got a text from the group that they wanted to go see this quirk show that was happening. Asta told Eri and Noelle and they ran to the show.

They looked around and found their class. They sat down and waited for the entertainers to come out. The entertainers came out and started showing off their quirks. One boy in a straw hat was stretching his limbs across the place and swinging around. Then a blonde boy was creating wind spheres and throwing shurikens and kunais at targets. And a orange haired boy used his massive sword to send a slice of energy to destroy another target. They went on for a while just displaying their quirks and showing how they used it to entertain people. Asta looked down to Eri and saw her amazed at these guys quirks.

After that they went on a few more rides and played some more games. Then they decided that is was getting late and they should all head home. When they made it to the dorms, Asta took the tired Eri and layed her on the couch to sleep. They heard a knock at the door and it was Aizawa. "Hey Dad/Aizawa Sensei" they said. "Hey kids, can I speak to my sons alone" he asked of his students. They nodded their heads and went to another room. "So Dad, what do you want to talk about?" Asta and Yuno asked. "This" he said handing them a paper. Asta took the paper and saw it had the words adoption and the kid who wa getting adopted was Eri. "You-You're adopting Eri?" Asta asked. "I see the way you and everyone interacts with her and she seems to like you guys a lot. So I thought that if I adopt her, you guys can take care of her" Aizawa explained. Asta just smiled as he looked at the paper and Eri.

He went to wake up Eri to tell her the good news. "Hey, hey Eri" Asta said poking her arm. "Hmm yeah Asta?" She sleepily asked. "I have good news" Asta smiled. "What is it?". "We adopted you" he told her. "What does that mean?" She asked with a confused look. "That means that you are mine and Yuno's little sister" Asta answered. "So I'm your sister now?" She asked. He nodded his head. She then jumped in his arms and smiled, happy she was part of his family.
