Chapter 48: U.A School Festival

After Aizawa told Asta and Yuno the news, Asta being the big mouth he is told the whole class. "So Aizawa Sensei adopted Eri?" Noelle asked. He nodded. "Well that's good, you guys were always very close" Yaoyarozu said. "But now she can hang out with us more often" Asta stated. Everyone besides Bakugou cheered because they all loved to hang out with Eri.

The next day, they all remembered that the U.A School Festival was happening. They had to think of something that the class could perform in front of the whole school. "How about we do a sing and dance routine!?" Ashido suggested. "Do any of us even know how to dance?" Todoroki asked. Ashido just smirked and then started to do dance right in front of them. "I'll teach dance and since I know Jirou can sing and play instruments, she will teach you all how to sing and play" Ashido explained. They all nodded and got pumped for the festival. Asta was put on the team that was going to help with back ground sets. Yuno, Noelle, and Mimosa was part of the special effects crew.

Eri, Aizawa, and Yami would stop by to ask what they were doing. "Hey Eri!" Class 1-A greeted. She walked up to them and waved. "What are you guys doing?" She questioned. "We're preparing for the U.A School Festival" Uraraka said. "What's that?". "It's a festival where each class performs something to the entire school" Asta explained. "What are you guys doing?". "We are doing a dance and a concert" he continued.

"Can you guys watch her. Your uncle and I have a mission that we have to deal with" Aizawa asked of his students. "Yeah, we can watch her since the two of us aren't doing much in the concert" Asta said referring to himself and Midoriya. "I can be of use!!" A voice could be heard outside of the dorms. They turned to see it and they saw Mirio. "Lemillion!" Eri said running to him and giving him a hug. "You got better" she smiled. "Well I still don't have my quirk but I can still be of use to watch over you and help Class 1-A" Mirio said giving everyone a thumbs up. Aizawa and Yami then left to go on their mission while Asta, Mirio, and Midoriya took Eri to see what every other class is doing.

They went to the court yard and saw the other classes trying to work on their performances. "Mirio, what is your class doing?" Midoriya asked. "Oh we aren't doing anything but Nejire is running for the U.A Beauty Pageant" Mirio said. They continued to walk until they were suprised by a dragon head. It scared Eri a bit but Asta was there to protect his new little sister. Behind the dragon was the students of Class 1-B such as Monoma, Tetsu Tetsu, and Awase. Monoma started blabbering about how their play they were performing would be way better than anything 1-A would do. "OUR MIGHTY PLAY WILL BE SO AMAZING IT WILL BE THE NEXT CINEMA MASTER-" Monoma started before Awase and Tetsu Tetsu knocked him out. "Yeah sorry, Kendo isn't here to do that. She is off preparing for the beauty pageant" Awase apologized while picking up his unconscious friend.

"Asta, why is he so loud and mean?" Eri asked. "I don't know but you know who he reminds me of?" He replied to her. "Uhh Bakugou?" She answered. "Exactly". This got a chuckle from both Midoriya and Mirio.

After that, they went to go meet up with Nejire in the changing room. "Hey Nejire, it's me!" Mirio announced. "Hey guys. Hi Eri I'm Nejire Hado, I'm a friend of Mirio" She introduced herself flying around using her quirk. "Your really pretty" Eri complimented. "Thank you, your so sweet" she said patting her head. "Hey Asta, why don't you ask Noelle and Mimosa to enter the pageant?" Midoriya said. "You know that would be cool. They do like to look their best" Asta mentioned. "Oh yeah that be fun....but let them know, I will show no mercy" Nejire stated smirking.

Asta and Midoriya took Eri back to their dorms to chill with the very tired class. They let Eri go hang out with the other classmates. "Hey Noelle, while I was walking around the school and heard there was a beauty pageant happening and I think you and Mimoss should compete in it" Asta suggested to her. "Why would I?" She scoffed. "Well because I think you're really pretty and you could maybe even win" Asta chuckled. Noelle blushed a bit and said "w-well I could, I did win a few when I was younger". He gave a quick kiss on the cheek and her face turned red. Asta dozed off and gave Noelle some time to think about it.

The next day, Noelle decided that she should do it. "Hey Mimosa, would you want to compete in the beauty pageant with me?" She asked her cousin. "Sure, we did compete in a few when we were younger" Mimosa chuckled. "Great, now we just have to ask Ashido" Noelle said.

"You can't!!" Ashido shouted. "Why not?" Noelle asked. "Because we need you two for the special effects" Ashido explained. "Well we can still do the special effects and then after that we can go to the beauty pageant" Noelle objected. "*sigh* Well if you can make it then you can participate. I hope you two win" she said winking and giving thems a thumbs up. They thanked her and went to the sign up sheet.

After they signed up, they went back to help with the concert. "Hey Noelle, did you sign up for the pageant" Asta said carrying a disco ball. She nodded and showed him the slip saying she is competing. "Yay, I know you'll win for sure Noelle" Asta said kissing her cheek. She smiled and kissed him back.
