Chapter 28: Asta and Yuno vs Mars

Asta charged at Mars and swung his sword at him. But Mars blocked it with his diamond fist and swatted Asta away.

Yuno then flew in and launched blast of winds towards Mars. "Wind Blade Shower" Yuno said sending the blades all over Mars. Mars made a diamond shield to block the attack. He then created a diamond sword and swung it at Yuno.

Yami encased his sword with dark energy and sliced at Mars but it didn't phase him. Mars was about to slam his fist on Yami but Charlotte pulled him out of the way.

"Pathetic man, can't handle his own" Charlotte scoffed. "Jeez, you'll never find a man with that attitude" Yami said getting up. '

'Why did I insult him. Why cant I just tell him my feelings, no this is not the time for that' Charlotte thought while blushing. "Hey, you sick or something?" Yami asked looking at her red face. Charlotte was shocked at what he said but she shook it off and faced Mars. She sent vines at his feet to trap him while Yami charged his sword back up and slashes Mars once again.

"SHOTA, NOW!!" Yami yelled. Aizawa went to activate his quirk on Mars but got hit by a blue fire ball. A man with burn marks around his body stood over Aizawa as he lit a blue flame from his hand. "Come at me" the man smirked.

With Aizawa districted, Mars swatter Yami away again and ripped free of Charlotte's vines. Charlotte sent her vines to hit Mars but Fana woke up and burned the vines away. Fana then blasted Charlotte with a fire blast.

Asta and Yuno got up and attacked Mars. Asta went in and sliced Mars legs and Yuno sent tornadoes towards Mars. Mars sent a wave of diamonds towards Asta but he blocked it with his swords. "Black Slash" Asta said sending a blast at Mars. It hit Mars and made him stumble back a little bit. "Spirit Breath" Yuno said blasting a wind ball towards Mars. The blast hit and knocked Mars back.

But Fana wrapped her hands around Mars and started to release fire that healed him.

Asta and Yuno jumped to attack Mars but Fana blasted them back. "Come one Yuno, let's finish this" Asta said being surrounded by energy.

Mimosa woke up in a bed and saw Noelle laying across from her badly injured. Mimosa got up in a rush to heal Noelle. She summoned leaves to heal Noelle and wrap around her wounds. Noelle woke up and saw Mimosa healing her. "W-What happened?" Noelle weakly asked. "You got injured and I'm healing you" Mimosa explained. "Where's Asta!?" Noelle asked in a panic. "He's fighting that diamond guy outside" Mimosa said. Noelle jumped out of bed and started to limp outside. "Noelle wait. You're injured" Mimosa said trying to stop her. "I-I can't let him get hurt" Noelle said referring to Asta.

She limped outside and saw Asta and Yuni fighting Mars and Fana. Asta looked torwards her way and was shocked to see her all healed up. But as he turned back to the fight, he was stabbed by one of the diamonds on Mars. He fell down and clutched his side. "ASTA!!" Noelle screamed. She ran to his side and looked at his wound. "I'm f-fine, just a f-flesh wound" Asta groaned holding his stab wound. Mimosa ran over and started to try and heal him. "I won't be able to heal it entirely since I used most of my energy earlier" Mimosa said to Asta. He nodded his head and gave her a thumbs up.

Yuno continued to attack Mars and Fana while evading their attacks. But he was slowly getting exhausted by the more he attacked. He sent one more tornado torwards them and then dropped to his knees. All his energy was depleted. He tried to get back up and fight but he just couldn't.  Mars slowly walked towards Yuno and was about to slash him. But Yuno heard a small laugh to his right. He looked to his right and saw a blond fairy laughing on his shoulder. She winked at him and then blew a kiss to Mars and Fana. With that "kiss", the two were hit by a strong wind attack, knocking them out. Yuno sat there shocked at what happened. He looked back to his shoulder and the fairy was gone. He got up and stumbled towards the injured Asta. "Hey Asta, you okay?" Yuno asked. Asta smiled and gave his brother a thumbs up.

Aizawa came back with burn marks all over his clothes. "He got away" he said looking at the ground.

Asta and the group walked to the teachers and waited for commands. Suddenly, a portal opened up around Mars and Fana. It sucked them, in taking them away. Midoriya then came with broken and bloodied arms, gasping for air. "They-....They took Tokoyami and Kacchan". Once everyone heard that, they realized they failed.
