{3rd Person} {Cantina}
Jaydin walked over to Luke, checking to see if he was alright. She looked over just in time to see the electric blade of her father's lightsaber swing. An arm now lying on the floor as well as the multiple eyed alien being doubled over. Her blue eyes went wide in shock.
Jaydin rushed to her father, forgetting about the fact that she and Luke got thrown across the cantina. Old Obi-Wan put his lightsaber away, the blade going back into the hilt. Luke stared at the father and daughter duo in awe as he began to approach the two.
"Thank you." Jaydin whispered as she hugged Obi-Wan tightly. The elderly man smiled, stroking his daughter's long, slightly wavy, blond locks.
The fight had only lasted a matter of a few seconds, from the person trying to grab Jaydin to Obi-Wan putting away his lightsaber after using it. The people in the cantina went back to their drinks, giving the older man and his daughter room. Luke came over as the father and daughter duo broke lose from the hug. Obi-Wan pointed over at the large Wookie.
"This is Chewbacca. He's first-mate on a ship that might suit our needs." The elderly man said.
{Mos Eisley, Street}
Threepio paced around in front of the speeder and in front of the cantina. Artoo was in a conversation with a little red astro-droid. An alien comes out of the cantina, approaching two stormtroopers that were patrolling the streets. Threepio watched, as he continued to pace around.
"I don't like the look of this." Threepio muttered.
{Cantina}
Luke downs fresh drink, following Jaydin, Obi-Wan and Chewbacca. He was still giddy, while Jaydin was on high alert, cautiously taking small sips her fresh drink. In the background strange aliens played exotic music with strange looking instruments.
The group of four arrived at a booth where a man sat. He looked to be at least a few years older than Jaydin and Luke. Luke and Obi-Wan stood next to each other, Jaydin was slightly hidden behind them, glancing around. She knew that after the accident, there might be some attention from the Imperial troopers or anyone that supported the Dark Side of the Force. The tall Wookie went ahead and sat down with the person in the booth.
"Han Solo. I'm captain of the Millennium Falcon. Chewie here tells me your looking for passage to the Alderaan system." The pilot, Han Solo, introduced himself.
"Yes, indeed. If it's a fast ship." The elderly Jedi said. Jaydin took a sip of her drink, shufting her weight on her other foot.
"Fast ship? You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon?" Han Solo questioned in shock.
"Should I have?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Its the ship that made the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs!" The pilot exclaimed, clearly trying to impress the elderly man and the farmboy, not knowing Jaydin was there. Obi-Wan clearly didn't believe the pilot.
"Yeah right. And I'm Senator Amidala..." Jaydin exclaimed slightly louder than she ment to.
Luke looked back at her, trying to hold in his laughter. Obi-Wan glanced back, an eyebrow raised slightly, it had been forever since he had heard his old friend's name be mentioned. Han Solo tried looking for the girl, clearly confused at hearing her voice. Jaydin smiled, acting innocent.
"I've outrun Imperial starships, not the local bulk-cruisers, mind you. I'm talking about the big Corellian ships now. She's fast enough for you, old man. What's the cargo?" Han said, ignoring what Jaydin had said, he had still been yet to see her.
"Rude much?" Jaydin muttered under her breath.
"Only passengers. Myself, the boy, my daughter, two droids, and no questions asked." Obi-Wan said, choosing to ignore the fact that Han called him an old man and Jaydin's remark.
"What is it? Some kind of local trouble?" Han asked, figuring that the girl was with the droids and not behind Obi-Wan and Luke.
"Let's just say we'd like to avoid any Imperial entanglements." Obi-Wan said.
"Well, that's the trick, isn't it? And it's going to cost you something extra. Ten thousand in advance." Han said. Luke got upset at that, him and Jaydin knowing that they could almost buy their own ship for ten thousand credits.
"Ten thousand? We could almost buy our own ship for that!" Luke exclaimed their shared thought.
"Luke!" She scolded quietly the farmboy. Jaydin flicked him in the back of the head at his out burst. Luke looked over at her, his face contorted in confusion.
"But who's going to fly it, kid! You?"
"You bet I could. I'm not such a bad pilot myself! Neither is Jaydin! We don't have to sit here and listen..." Luke said, getting annoyed with the pilot.
"We don't have that much with us. But we could pay you two thousand now, plus fifteen when we reach Alderaan." Obi-Wan said.
{Jaydin POV}
I grabbed my bag of credits out of my main bag. I looked down at it. It was all the credits I had saved over the last at least five or so years. It had to be at least a thousand credits.
"Seventeen, huh!" The pilot exclaimed. I quickly stuffed the bag of coins back in to where they were. I knew I might need them later on.
{3rd Person}
"Okay. You guys got yourself a ship. We'll leave as soon as you're ready. Docking bay Ninety-four." Han said.
"Ninety-four." Obi-Wan replied, confirming the number. Jaydin mouthed out the number a few times before nodding.
"Looks like somebody's beginning to take an interest in your handiwork." Han said, nodding over at where there were four stormtroopers asking the bartenders questions while looking at the dead bodies. Obi-Wan, Luke and Jaydin looked over.
"Kriff!! Time to go!" Jaydin said.
She grabbed Luke's hand, her father grabbing her other wrist, glancimg around for an area where they could sneak out. The troopers looked over at the booth that the bartenders had pointed to. The three were gone, just Chewbacca and Han sitting in the booth. The bartender shrugged.
"Seventeen thousand! Those guys must really be desperate. This could really save my neck. Get back to the ship and get her ready." Han said to Chewie in amazement.
A/N: Hi everyone! Well here you go, while I was writting this chapter, I was tempted to not have Jaydin hiding behind them the whole time but I thought better for the next chapter. Plus we got a small bit of Jaydin's pov, what do you think should she have given up her credits for their escape off of Tatooine? Anyways, hope you like it! I have to go try and get my friends to help me with getting things/advice for what to do about my crush with Valentine's Day coming up. But see you next chapter, bye loves<3
