Jaydin was 7 years old now. So for her birthday, Ben was about to take his daughter out to see other parts of Tatooine. Well the parts beside the seemingly endless desert sea that surrounded the homestead. Ben looked down at his daughter, who was trying her hardest to meditate and focus.

He took this as a chance to get ready for their outing. Ben grabbed his outer robe that had a hood to cover his face. He also grabbed his lightsaber and clipped it to his belt. After making sure it was hidden from anyone, he looked at Jaydin.

"Yes Father?" Young Jaydin said, her eyes still closed. She had probably felt his eyes on her. Jaydin opened her icy blue eyes and looked up at her father.

"Are you going somewhere Father?" She questioned, a puzzled look spreading across her face. Her father just smiled and offered her a hand up.

"Just somewhere." Ben replied. Jaydin nodded and took his hand.

"Oh. Okay. Is it okay that I come with you?" She asked as she put her hooded outer robe, knowing it was best for helping keep her safe from the Tusken Raiders or anyone else that may try to hurt her. Even thought she doubted anything would happen since she was going to be with her father.

"Of course, you're the best company to have when I go on little trips." He replied as they walked outside of their little home. Jaydin and her father got in the speeder as she just nodded happily.

"What are we going to do on this trip, Father?" She asked, strapping on her goggles that she kept hidden in the speeder. She looked over at her Father as he just smiled, not saying anything.

She sighed, knowing that she wouldn't be able to get any answers. Her father started up the speeder and began speed off, leaving a dust of sand in their wake.

"You'll like this, I promise Jaydin." Ben yelled over the sound of the speeder and over the sound of the wind howling.

Jaydin didnt even try responding back. She knew how hard it would be for them to hear each other. So she just nodded. She welcomed the air blowling across her face and through her hair.

The hot desert air felt slightly cooler due to the wind from the speeder but ot was still hot. However, it was still greatly appreciated. Lots of things were greatly appreciated when it came to living on a desert planet compared to a place like Naboo or Alderaan.

Slowly the horizon began to gain some shapes besides a few small hills of sand or the occasional home here and there. Jaydin noticed and looked at her father, confused once more. She blinked and looked back between the growing horizon and her father, thinking she was only imagining it.

Oh but she wasn't imagining anything. That was the place she had always heard terrible things about. She couldn't believe her eyes. Mos Eisley.

"Is-is this Mos Eisley?" She asked is disbelief. She took her goggles off, thank for having them so she wouldnt get send in her eyes. Her blue eyes met her father's.

"Yes, so stay close. And if you meet anyone and they ask if you're with anyone, you tell them 'Im with my father, Ben Kenobi.' Alright?" He asked before the got out of the speeder. Jayfin nodded, knoeing it was for their safety.

"Now, where is the place that you'll like?" Ben questioned as he looked around for a momemt. He grabbed her hand and began leading them to a special place.

After a few minutes of walking through the crowds of Mos Eisley, they finally reached their destination. The "Community" Junk Yard. Jaydin looked at her father and smiled brightly. She jumped on him, hugging him tightly.

"Thank you! Does this mean we can get some scraps for me to craft something? Or what are we doing?" She asked, letting go of the hug.

We can go look. I think that some of the other kids built a workshop somewhere near here that you can go to anytime you want." Her father responded. Jaydin smiled, jumping up and down before dragging her father in the junk yard.

At the very far side of the junk yard, hidden by some bigger piles of junk and old ship parts, was the workshop that Ben had told her about. Jaydin looked at her father, begging to go over there. Ben noticed and nodded, letting her run over there as he wdnt to look for a few parts he needed.

Out of the corner of his eye, he caught the sight of a blonde boy, probably around Jaydin's age but jist taller. The boy had seen the girl run from her father and over to the workshop.

Jaydin looked around at the main table at the workshop. It was slightly darker compared to the res of the yard since it had shade over it. She also noticed that she was the only girl there at the moment. There was two other people there with her.

The was a blonde boy around her age, maybe a year or two older than her. There was also a tall ravenette who was a few years older than the blonde boy at least.

The ravenette was busy working on something thst was on the workshop table. The unknown blonde decided to introduce himself to young Jaydin, since he wasn't doing anything at the moment. All he was doing was waiting for instructions from the ravenette.

"Hello! I'm Luke. Luke Skywalker. That over there is Biggs Darklighter. I've never seen you here before. What's your name?" The blonde boy, Luke, introduced the two boys. At the mention of his name, the ravenette or Biggs looked up at Like and saw young Jaydin.

"Oh hello. I'm Jaydin. Jaydin Kenobi. Y father wanted to take me here since its my birthday and he needed to loom for parts and scraps." Jaydin replied, slightly uneasy about saying her last name to them. She knew not to trust many people with her last name but she said it since Luke had told her both of their last names.

"Nice to meet you Jaydin. Happy birthday. Would you like to help us n this old speeder we found?" Biggs asked. At the offer, Jaydin seemed to light up with joy.

"May I?" She asked. Both boys nodded and made some room for her.

Hours pasted of Ben trying to find the right parts while occasionally checking if his daughter was safe and okay. Jaydin didnt mind though, she had known her father was just trying to protect her. She was having fun and made two new friends.

"Jaydin! It's going to be dark soon, we must get home." Her father called, a few parts sticking out of a new bag that had a strap rested on one shoulder.

"Coming!" She called. Jaydin and her two new friends looked over at her father. She looked at both of them and smiled. The blonde girl set fown the tools that she was using. She smiled softly at both of them and whispered a small goodbye.

"Father!" She yelled, jumping into her father's arms. He hugged her, shaking her back and forth. He set her back on the ground, holding one of her hands. They started walking away as Jaydin looked back and waved goodbye with her free hand.
