'A sports news report just came in, ladies and gentlemen! To all volleyball fanatics out there, I suggest you to hold on tight! Taran Knights, the season's most anticipated team in the women's V.League Division 1 just announced their player line up! The line up still consists of their top players from the last season with an exception of a newcomer! Taran Knights has won the V.League for almost 3 consecutive years, can you believe it? So, it is no surprise that this newcomer had chosen this team to join for her professional debut and comeback to the volleyball world!' A male newscaster reported.

He continued, 'All of you are probably wondering who is this player, right!? Well it is none other than, Haruka Ishiwaka!'

'Wait! Wait! Haruka Ishiwaka? Why does that name sound so familiar?' A female newscaster stated in faux confusion. 'Wait! Isn't she the daughter of volleyball legend, Hiroshi Ishiwaka?'

'There's that but do you seriously not know anything about that girl!?' The male newscaster exclaimed. 'Almost four years ago, she dominated the junior high division and high school division in volleyball, that girl is an absolute all-rounder on the court! She definitely deserved the title of ace back then. Taran Knights just announced that she will be playing the position of outside hitter under number 4!'

'Woah, she's got quite a resumé there if that's the case! Plus, isn't number 4 the number of an ace? This girl might be really good to play under that number!' The female newscaster commented, 'It also says here in our notes that she's a fresh graduate of The University of Tokyo! But previous reports says that she hadn't been playing volleyball at all, is that right?'

'Indeed, she hasn't been playing but she is part of official team of The University of Tokyo. She doesn't actively participate in official matches but she participates in training. This girl hasn't been in the limelight for quite a long time but it is quite the surprise to everyone to see her just last week on the streets of Tokyo!'

'Come one, the girl is just walking, what's so surprising about that?' The female newscaster commented.

'She was walking with Schweiden Adlers #11, Wakatoshi Ushijima!'

'No way —' Haru rolled her eyes since she had enough of the news and decided to turn the television off since the news started to become a gossip of her personal life. She chucked the remote of the television to the bed that was behind her.

She was currently staying in a hotel suite that she shares with her boyfriend, Wakatoshi. Haru was based in Tokyo since that was where Taran Knights were based but Haru decided to tag along with Wakatoshi when she noticed that he'd be playing in Kamei Arena Sendai Gymnasium which was more known as Sendai City Gymnasium. This was the place where they all used to play during Interhigh preliminaries. She was hoping to see a lot of familiar faces too.

Aside from wanting to watch her boyfriend's match, she too also had a game in the same gymnasium the next day. It was her debut game, which made her more nervous. She had training for majority of her college years but it has been a while since she played an official match. She took a glance at her black and red volleyball uniform which was hanged neatly by the dresser.

Pushing her nerve-wracking thoughts aside, she took a glance at the digital clock by the nightstand which made her eyes wide. Hell, I was supposed to leave fifteen minutes ago! She quickly grabbed her small bag, phone, and keys and ran out of the suite.
