13. always and forever

It's been a few days since fred was here and hope had been struggling with the power.
Lizzie and Josie, alarics children siphoned the hollow out of hope and put it into dad and when hope and I found out we locked him in the dungeon to stop him from ending his life but he got out, hope had gone out to find him while I watched the house.
Dad was upstairs talking to hope when uncle kol came back.
When they came down we had one last dinner party, everyone was merry as we didn't want dad to go out with sadness.
"I will never abandon you two , even if I can't be around if so much as breath my name" marcel just wants to look out for us as he always has.
"Thank you." we both say in unison.

"Write it's time for an old fashioned wish burning ceremony" rebekah announces. We all leave the table, write out wishes on paper and throw them into the fire.
"You know as much as I've savoured the joy of tormenting you throughout the years, I must confess you all mean everything to me, the loyalty and your council and you love, you're probably the only reason I've survived this long, which is how I know that long after I'm gone you will all come together, time and time again to take care of eachother, and that is why I'm not afraid," dad looks at hope and I " for your futures."

"We are bound forever to those of whome we share blood, and while we may not choose our family, that bond is our greatest strength ." Elijah speaks.

"Though I may be leaving you tonight, This is not the end of the Mikaelsons, Always and forever. " dad assures us.

"Always and forever." We all repeat.
Dad takes our hands and leads us out of the room.

"There's something else we need to discuss." He states.
"I want to come with you" hope argues.

"I don't think you should."
"We're going to make you proud, I can't promise that we won't go through a period where we're irresponsible, and date older men, but we're going to go back to school, we'll make sure each other are ok, because we're Mikaelsons, and I promise you we're gonna do right by our name " I was nearly in tears.
"I know you will, I love you, more than all the days and nights deeper than the oceans and the skies." dad replies.
"I love you too." Hope and I said at the same time.
"How do we do this?" Hope asked.
Dad pulled us both into a hug, "I wish I knew."

Dad left with Elijah and Rebekah so that dad could say goodbye to them. Rebekah came back but the other two didn't, they wanted go out the way they has always been, together.
