25. new addition

After the incident with the lake Katherine and kai were forced to go home while I got detention with the inquisitorial squad for a week. The squad was told to watch me closely and one of them had to follow me at all times. At the end of the week I had to write a written apology to umbridge.

I was walking round the corridors as it was Saturday when I saw a first year girl run out of umbriges office, she was crying.

"Hey are you ok?" I asked.

The first year gryfindor looked up at me and wiped her tears away.

"No I just had detention with umbridge."

"Your in gryfindor right? So am I, c'mon I'll show you a short cut back to the common room and we'll get your wounds cleaned up." I offer my hand for the girl to take it, which she does.

We get to one of the secret passage ways and I lead her through it.

"My name's lyssa, lyssa loftly and your faith right? The one that pushed umbridge into the lake the other week."

"Yea that was me also lyssa Is a cool name." We got to the portrait.

"Ok lyssa come with me to my dorm so I can clean your wound and bandage your hand."

"Ok thanks faith."

The boys were sat in their usual place in front of the fire so I mouthed that I'll be about ten minutes. We headed up to my dorm. I told lyssa to sit on my bed then got the antiseptic wipes and bandages.

"Ok the wipe may sting a bit but I promise you'll be fine." I smiled and she nodded. I cleaned out the cuts then wrapped the bandage around her hand. Once I'd done I sat on the bed next to her with my legs crossed.

"Mind telling me why exactly you got detention?" I ask.

"Well umbridge was being homophobic so I stood up and argued which landed me in detention."

"If you don't mind me asking why were you in on your own surely your friends stood up aswell." I look concerned.

"Actually I haven't made any friends, you are the first to speak to me as a normal human."

"Oh you poor thing well your always welcome hang with my group if you want." He face lit up and she hugged me and said thank you multiple times.

I told her I was going down to sit with them now and that she could meet them if she wanted. She took my hand and I led her to the group.

"Hey guys we have a new addition to the group." Lyssa steps out from behind my back still holding my hand.

"Hello" she said quietly.

"Hey kid what's your name? Mines george" George asks.

Lyssa looks at me and I nod.
"My name's lyssa, nice to meet you."

"Hi I'm fred and the scary looking guy is Lee."

"Sure, pleased to meet you lyssa." Lee says.

I go and sit next to fred and lyssa sat next to me. The boys started talking about a big plan they had.

"So what's this big plan and can I help?" I ask.

"Yes love you can help, baso we're going to set fire works off so exams get cancelled then fly off on our brooms to start our jokeshop." Fred says.

"Hold up your leaving?!"

"Yes love but you can visit the joke shop anytime and I'll FaceTime you every day." He says hugging me.

"Fine how can I help, also lyssa you wanna help?" I turn to the small girl that was leaning on my arm.

"Sure what would we be doing?" Lyssa replied.

"Well we were wondering if you wanted to play music really loud on your speaker while the fireworks were going off." said Lee.

"Sure I'm in but I swear fred if you don't call me I will come down to the shop and annoy you." I smile and look at my boyfriend.

George's pov

I was talking joke shop ideas with Lee when I realised that the other 3 were asleep. Faith was leaning on freds shoulder while his chin rested on her head and lyssa was layed on faiths lap.

"Dude freds gonna kill you." Lee tells me.

"Too late I already sent it to mum with the message of 'Faith unofficially adopted a first year, they look like a family' Yeah he's gonna kill me."

Hope had just walked in from god knows where she goes.

"Hope, hope, hope, quick look at this."

"Aww they look so cute hold on gotta send this to freya."

"We should wake them up." Lee points out.

"Nah let them sleep, here put this blanket over them." Hope passes me a blanket which I lay over them then head up to bed.

Faiths pov
I woke up to find everyone gone I was still laid on fred while lyssa was resting on me.

I check the time then slightly nudge lyssa to wake her up.

"Hey little one, it's 5:30, breakfast is at 6 I'll meet you down here in a min if you want." I say as she stands up.

"Oki cya in five mins." She said as she walked back to her dorm.

Moving freds arm I get up to leave when he wakes up.

"Hey love breakfast is in half an hour I'm just going to get changed." I kissed his forehead and skipped off upstairs.
