27. journey to America

We had been flying for 9 hours now and decided to stop at a motel as lyssa was falling asleep. She could barely walk so I gave harry money to pay for the room and I carried her to it when he got the key. I placed her down on the bed and said goodnight then turned to harry and Draco.

"We need to set off early but for now let lyssa sleep you two should get some sleep too, I'm going to the bathroom to call freya and tell her."

They agree and go and lay down I walk into the bathroom but don't close the door so I can make sure they're all right. Fred had text me multiple times so I decided I'd call him after freya.

I rang freya and made sure it wasn't on speaker.

"Hi faith it's late why are you still awake?"

"I'm on my way home with some friends, umbridge kicked all the lgbtq+ students out of school and it wasn't safe for harry, Draco and my new friend lyssa to go home so I'm bringing them back. We've been flying for 9 hours and lyssa was falling asleep, she's a first year so we stopped at a motel, we should be in new Orleans in about 1 and a half days."

"Ok that's great, I'm not here though so you'll meet josh and he'll take care of you all until I get back."

"Thanks freya, love you I'll text you again when we make it there."

"Love you too kiddo."

I hung up and called fred.

"Pup I've been so worried about you how are you, where are you?" He sounded tired.

"Hey Freddie, were good lyssa was falling asleep so we stopped at a motel and I'm making sure they're all safe don't worry, were setting off early and flying most of the day I'll call you whenever we stop to get food I promise."

"Ok love look you get some sleep and I'll call again tommorow, love you stay safe."

"Love you too, you stay safe aswell, good luck with the shop."

He hangs up and I go and sit with lyssa.

It's around 3 am when I start getting ready to leave, I change clothes then get lyssa up and she gets changed too.
We wake the boys up and grab a snack. Before we set off I hand the keys back in and cloak us.

We fly until lunch and I stop to get us all McDonald's and call fred. He picks up and I hold my phone so that lyssa is also on screen.

"Hey kiddo how are you doing?" He smile at her.

"I'm good thanks fred." She smiles and continues eating her chicken nuggets.

"Hello pup I hope your safe." He looks worried.

"I'm fine Freddie don't worry we'll see eachother soon, how's the shop going anyway." I smile to reassure him.

"We're only setting it up right now but there's already people talking about it."

"That's great also Draco and harry would say hi but dracos just discovered the wonder that is a cheeseburger." Draco and harry flip me off and carry on shoving food in their mouths.

George appeared on camera.
"Hi george i was just wishing you good luck with the joke shop. "

"Thanks and good luck with your journey." George smiles and walks off.

We finish our food and I end the call. We set off after a toilet brake.

By the time we stop flying again it was the morning and we were in America and we stopped for a quick breakfast and a change of clothes then set off again. I bought lyssa some coffee so that she wouldn't fall asleep and fall off the broom.

We get to new Orleans and I lead them to the compound.

"Welcome to the Mikaelson compound" josh says as we walk in, I run up and hug him.

"Everyone this is josh." I say and walk back over to lyssa.

The others introduce themselves and I show lyssa to her room and she put yer stuff away and i told her to sleep for a bit, while josh showed the boys their room. I texted freya to make sure she knew I arrived.
josh appeared at my doorway.

"So lyssa's an new friend aye she's younger than you right?"

"Yeah I took her in as her parents aren't supportive and umbridge hurt her."

"Well done with that anyway where's fred this time I liked that kid."

"He's opening his joke shop with his brother so he's not staying this time."

"That's cool anyway kol and davina will be arriving soon, I've just got a few things to do but you should get some snacks or something from the kitchen and I'll be back soon." He smiles and hugs me.

"Thanks josh I'll see you later and I promise we won't leave the compound while your gone."

He left and I went to find harry and Draco, I knocked on their bedroom door.

"Come in" harry shouts.

"Hey I was wondering if you wanted any snacks?"

"Yeah sure, is lyssa sleeping?" Draco asks.

"Yeah imma let her sleep for a while and my aunt and uncle should be here soon."

I ran down to the kitchen  grabbed crisps, chocolate and blood for me then ran back up.

"Here you go boys." I throw some snacks at them then went to check on lyssa.

She was still fast asleep so I went back to my room and put step up on. A few minutes later lyssa knocked on my door frame so I pause the film

"Hey kiddo sleep well?" I ask as she comes to sit with me.

"Yes thanks, what are you watching?"
She looked at the tv.

"It's a film called step up it's only just started want to watch it with me? I have snacks."

She agrees and the boys join us aswell as they had never seen the movies.

After watching the third movie I hear footsteps downstairs then kols voice.

"Faith you here?" He shouts.

"Hold on guys let's go meet my aunt and uncle don't worry they're chill."

They all follow me downstairs. I run and hug davina and kol.

"Hey these are my friends, harry Draco and lyssa, I kidnapped them." I laugh. "Joking, joking they're here voluntarily." 

"Well it's nice to meet your friends, why are you here anyway?"

"Umbridge" I only have to say one word for him to roll his eyes.
