Sh'lera's POV

I guess Belle beat my record by a few hours because as soon as Lydia came through the door Belle gave it her last push before she pushed out a beautiful girl.

A mixed little one who was my granddaughter, I was so proud. While they were cleaning her up I went to Belle's side. She was a sweaty mess who looked so tired she smiled at me. "Did I do well?"

I kissed her forehead, "You did great," I saw Adam walk in and kiss her as well. I went back into stone mode and kept happy thoughts floating around.

I moved aside when the nurse gave the little girl to Belle. My favorite part was coming up, "What are you doing to name her?" The nurse asked and I looked at Belle excited and Belle looked at Anthony.

"Aisha Maria Quinn," She stated and my heart swelled, "She'll be taking my name until we get married or not." She said looking at Anthony who nodded, I glanced at Adam who couldn't look happier but I saw some conflicted nature flash through his eyes.

Once our eyes connected he looked away and left. The wall came down and the first feeling was guilt and I already hated it. I turned to see him leave and my eyes landed on Lydia who was sitting down with brandy in her hand and drinking straight from the bottle.

I made my way over to her and was handed a wet towel from Mason who sat down on one side of her while I sat on the other side. "Lydia what happened to you?" She closed her eyes,

"Something I need to handle, excuse me." She said rising and I saw her wince at the pain and limp out of the room. She carried her purse around her shoulder and carried the bottle for dear life and kept the wet towel wrapped around her neck.

She looked back at us and smiled, "Don't worry about me, Sh'lera worry about your daughter,"

I watched her leave, I turned back to Mason who had his head down. I went to Belle and talked to the kids about the next step.

Mason's POV

I ran after Lydia, she was struggling with the doors when I kept them open and helped her inside. She wasn't getting any better that's when I realized she was a human, silly me. I pressed the lobby button for her.

"So are you going to stare at me until I tell you something?" She said with a harsh tone,

I crossed my arms, "Not really, I was figuring out how long it would be for me to heal you."

"Don't bother," She got her knife and cut at her blood stained and ripped jeans. She cut them at the thigh and revealed a gash, it was deep and probably infected. Also it was molding with the cloth, she slid down to the ground and with shaky hands she tipped the glass over the wound.

I heard it sizzle and bubble. She banged her head against the wall of the elevator and groaned lowly she was containing her pain very well. She stopped and waited a second, she took calming breaths then she repeated the process. Only thing time she kicked her foot against the wall near the doors.

Again she calmed down and repeated this same thing until we reached the lobby. Seeing her, a human go through this kind of pain made me see her in another light. I thought humans were all bad and crap but seeing Lydia made me think otherwise.

She cut herself out of her jeans and slipped into some jean shorts she had stuffed into her purse. She grabbed her shredded jeans and put them in her lap, she finished off the bottle and put that in her lap. She went to her grimy, messy, frizzy hair and managed to braid it down.

It was still messy but she managed to make it look good, she picked up the things in her lap and sat up. She was still a bloody mess but she was standing. She looked at me, "Hold this please,"

She gave me the stuff and fished around in her purse for something, the way she was tearing through her bag was like looking at a cave man play with fire for the first time…noisy. Holding up a roll of bandages like the Holy Grail, she tore through the plastic wrapping before lifting up her thigh.

And she paused positioning herself, and prepping herself to quickly wrap up her thigh with minimal pain. With a grunt she works her slender fingers around the material and her bloody skin.

The way her intricate fingers made it look so easy and how she looked so graceful like a dream. She was done wrapping up her thigh and waited a few seconds letting out long soothing breaths. I guess to ease the pain as quietly as she could, she was good at it.

She looked over at me and I handed her stuff over to her. The doors opened and she winked at me, "See you around Mason," As if nothing had happened.

I was speechless, leaving the elevator I saw Leo run towards her helping her out. Lydia rubbing his head and they laughed leaving the building. I wanted to follow them but I knew she was good.

"Hey what's wrong with her?" I glanced over and saw Adam casually leaning against the wall. Was he seriously talking to me? "She didn't tell me," He pushes off the wall and walks over to me.

Since I was speaking to Adam, I thought it would be good to clear the air. I turned towards him,

"Adam can I say something here man to man." He nods crossing his arms,

I licked my lips and inhaled before starting, "Sh'lera told me everything and I wanted to tell you man to man about the kiss in Italy. No she didn't want me to talk to you, she doesn't even know I'm talking to you. I just wanted to make clear I kissed her, she didn't kiss me.

I swear it was us really breaking the bond, and moving on. With the kid I gave her back the one thing she wished all the years ago. I healed her weak cervix and her child returned, she's pregnant and soon to give birth."

"So you have no feelings towards her?" He asked and I shook my head, "None we are just friends,"

He was silent for a second, I guess he was thinking it over. "I guess it wouldn't hurt to talk to her,"

I smiled and he returned one back and walked off giving me a pat on the shoulder, "You're a good man Mason,"

Xavier's POV

I was holding Jean over the ledge and thinking about letting her go. I knew she was gonna try and get away. I knew dropping her would end all my drama, but it wouldn't bring Roxy to me. "Fine,"

I place her on her feet, she drew back her arm and connected her fist with my face. I will admit she knew how to hit and she took off. I went after her, I should've known better!
