Chapter 16: Reconcile Italy

Chapter 16 

Sh'lera's POV

Later that same day,

I was alone for a while, thinking how I reacted. I felt guilty for blaming Adam but let's face it he did kiss Jean and Sasha is his daughter as far as we're all concerned here. 

And then Adam did put himself in that position thinking that he could still save the day and act like a husband. Oh what am I saying? Of course he's still my husband even though I don't feel like his wife, I don't feel anything. 

Today we were going to announce this our royal pack house, and that Jean and Sasha were able to move in. I had the biggest room next to Adam, I was in my chambers while Adam had his, their was a secret door between our rooms for easy access. At the time these rooms were built none of this happened. 

Actually my real room is with Adam's but I quickly changed our rooms recently. I'm getting some work done on my room anyway, then my beta's along with Adam's. Then down some are the children, I didn't think of Jean and Sasha so right now they share a guest room which is still nice but not their own. I have to change that up as well. 

"Knock, Knock," I look at the door, "Luna it's me Regina can I come in? I have Roxy with me." I snap my fingers and the door un-locks. She opens it and lets Roxy in and closes the door behind her. 

"Why are you here? Everyone is waiting to see you again, we're already past the moving and touring stage. The kids love their rooms and currently Sasha and Jean are pissed at their arrangement." 

"I already called the people to work on it," Regina pipped up, "I just don't want to deal with it right now." 

"Well too bad because this was your idea and you're going to see it through, Jess and Noah want to see you!" Roxy said pulling me to my feet and pulling me towards the door. I groan but follow her, 

"Regina get me a bottle of Grey Goose this is gonna be a long day,"

I conversed with mostly everyone except Jean, Adam, and Xavier. Really I kept bumping into Mason we kept light conversation.Thankfully Adam didn't interject as much as I feared.

I was currently talking to Mason about the party and my troubles and how his life has changed. Honestly I wasn't all their I was concentrating on Adam and his conversation, blocking out extra stuff and listening in on what he was trying to say.

"Jean that kiss meant nothing, you mean nothing to me. You stay away from me, I don't care about you, all I care about is Sasha and as far as I'm concerned you aren't Sasha so leave me alone."

"Sh'lera? Earth to Sh'lera." Mason said waving his hand in front of me, I blinked and fixed my eyes on him. "What?" 

"Were you listening?" 

"About the teacher dance and how you spilled the punch, yea." I answered quickly, he nods. 

Oh that was a close one, I guess Adam was done with Jean and was trying to make peace with her in their way. But it doesn't change the fact he cheated and I was still wearing the ring he gave me. I looked down and toyed with it for a second. 

It was a beautiful ring, "Sh'lera," I looked up to see Mason who pointed behind me, I turned around and saw Jess and Noah walk up to me. "We have an announcement." Noah said holding Jess protectively. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. 

I nod, "Okay everyone settle now the guest of honor have something to say!" I moved aside, 

They looked at each other smiling brightly, "Thank you for showing up at our surprise engagement party. And we love you Sh'lera for going through all this to make it wonderful for us. We love you so much and Alice loves you too. And now we have a surprise for everyone here!" She squealed. 

"We're getting married in Italy!" Noah claimed and my heart sank, I was with Adam in Italy. Well for that matter I was with Adam everywhere! 

Everyone was cheering and clapping, I stood their holding my glass tightly. When Mason nudged me I awkwardly began to clap and try to concentrate on holding my glass at the same time. He held my hands and took the glass from me. 

I looked up at him and saw his calm eyes, he took his eyes away for a second to put the glass on the table and lead me out of the room. I didn't breathe until we were out of sight. 

"Okay Shay breathe," He said over by a wall, I leaned against it breathing hard, panting was a better word for the situation. "Italy! I can't go to Italy too many memories with Adam." 

"That wasn't the place where he cheated was it?" 

I shook my head, "It was the next place we went after it." I seethed remembering the memories and thinking what if. "Well don't think about it because she said everyone in the room was invited and as far as I'm concerned I'm going." 

"Me too, I'm not going to let Adam ruin my fun with my best friend who is getting married to a man she loves." 

"Don't forget cheated on many times," I nodded with him on that one. But it got me to thinking, Noah and Jess are open when it came to those things. She would confess he would forgive her everything would be great. But then she would do it again, let me be real this isn't the first time she cheated and with the same guy, Xavier. And Xavier is suppose to be Noah's best friend. 

If you ask me that's all a little too twisted for me. 

"Sh'lera what are you thinking right now?" He asked leaning up against the wall while I had my head against it and trying to cool off. "Well right now I'm mad, just mad at everyone. Not you," 

"Okay go on," 

"I'm just tired of fighting and being mad." 

"You need Italy more than you give credit for," He comments and he was right, Italy was a relaxing place and it's big. There will be a lot of space away from Adam, I might spend it with Mason. I really couldn't see myself back with Mason because we're so chill around each other. I just haven't felt that spark which is odd. 

"You were always good with words," 

"I got better over the years," He smirked and I rolled my eyes laughing at him. 

Really Italy could be a good thing for me, "I really am happy you're going," I said to him, 

He had a softened face, "Me too," 

The next day...

I drop my luggage in front of Mason, "Here while I take my seat," 

"You know Sh'lera I don't remember you being so bossy," He smirks, always smirking it gets annoying. I mean seriously is that all he can do? 

Taking my seat I start to flip through the brochure, all the wonderful things you can do in Italy. I moved a seat down so he could sit next to me. "You ready Shay?" 

"I couldn't be more ready," I breathed,

 So I first wanna say, what do you think about Jess and Noah. I think their love is very strong, for Noah to keep taking her crap is beyond someon'e knowledge. And I honestly, do think that Noah loves Jess and Jess really loves Noah in their own twisted fashion. 

Anyway, Sh'lera and Mason? Friends or Naw?
